Post child birth and sensitive lady parts they provide comfort when sitting. Heavy flows and backside leaks stopped due to the widened rear on these... wish they would do that all sizes . The widen back also helps to stop the bunching that can happen when you have a big booty. These are my go to during the entire cycle except super light days when I switch to the flex foam size five
