Q: My tub has not only metal thing in middle but also has like hair catching or something so will this work?

If you cannot push it down far enough to reach the correct diameter of the stop to seal then no it will not work. Without seeing your hair grabber setup it is hard to be sure but take a look at it and determine if you can get the depth needed.

If it were only that easy... You need to measure the inside diameter of your drain where the stopper is going to go as well as the depth. Most of the stoppers that I've seen have dimensions listed so you can tell whether the one you're looking for will fit
