Worked just as good as the gel from the vets.
My sphynx ( cat ) , has been struggling with recurrent conjunctivitis for a while, and I was constantly relying on the expensive antibiotic gel prescribed by the vet. However, the gel didn’t last long, both in terms of its shelf life and how much I needed to use for each application. I decided to try **Vetericyn Plus Pet Eye Gel** as an alternative, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.First off, the price is significantly more affordable, and the bottle contains 3 ounces of product, which is much larger than most veterinary eye treatments. This makes it a much more cost-effective option, especially considering how often I need to treat Charlie's eyes. The gel itself is easy to apply — I simply put a small amount on a clean finger and gently apply it to the corners of his eyes. It’s a non-invasive process, and Charlie doesn’t mind it at all, which is a huge bonus! The results have been impressive. Since using the gel consistently, Charlie’s eyes have shown noticeable improvement. His irritation and redness have greatly reduced, and his eyes look clearer and less inflamed. It also helps lubricate his eyes, which is important for preventing further discomfort. I’ve been using it daily, and his symptoms seem to be well-managed now, without the need for frequent vet visits or expensive medications.Another feature I appreciate is that it’s vet-approved, which gives me extra peace of mind knowing that it's a trusted, effective option for treating eye irritations and even helping with symptoms of pink eye. The gel doesn’t have a strong odor or any harsh chemicals, so it feels gentle on his sensitive eyes.Overall, I’m really happy with **Vetericyn Plus Pet Eye Gel**. It’s an affordable, reliable, and easy-to-use alternative to prescription treatments. If your pet suffers from eye issues like conjunctivitis or irritations, I highly recommend giving this product a try — it has made a noticeable difference for Charlie, and I’ll continue to keep it as a staple in his care routine.

Super Effective Product
This eye medicine literally worked overnight for my dog that has Cherry Eye. I had applied it at night and she woke up with her eye looking perfectly fine. I wish I would've took pictures for before and after. But this medicine saved me a trip to the vet and saved me a few hundred dollars too. Its super easy to apply and comes in a huge bottle. Thank you so much for this product. I highly highly recommend this product.

Great product… if you can actually get it in the eye!
The gel itself works wonders once it’s in the eye — clears up irritation and redness fast. The problem? Getting it in there feels like I’m competing on a game show called “Catch the Drop.” suddenly turns into a ninja every time I bring out the bottle, and I’m pretty sure my dog has learned to blink on command at the exact second I squeeze. When it lands, it’s magic. When it doesn’t… well, let’s just say my floor is also free of eye infections now.

This Actually Works!
I was shocked at the efficacy of this product. I honestly didn’t expect much, but figured it was worth a shot for 20 bucks since I knew the vet appointment plus medication was gonna be at least $200. My female cat had an infection in her eye— green pus was leaking out and her eye wasn’t totally opening. She is so skittish she’s practically feral so I knew I’d get ONE shot at getting this in her eye— and I did. Only one shot. And within 24 hours… completely cleared up. I also recommended this to a pet care client whose cat had a similar thing going on… when I came back a week later her eye was totally cleared up!

* Go to the vet instead *
POSSIBLY WILL MAKE YOUR PET'S EYE WORSE! Created a bloody and enlarged, swollen eye, after the third small dose, on the second day. Believe the other reviewers who wrote a warning. My dog had redness in one eye, inside her lower eyelid that the vet said was allergies. The vet had recommended GenTeal drops for eye dryness, 1-2 drops, twice/day, and that didn't help much, although her eye was still white with some redness on/off. This gel aggravated her eye into bright red, and more like half her eye, even though she had no reaction after applied, so I discontinued it, and am taking her back to the vet. Use very sparingly if you try it anyway, and wait a day, to check if there was any negative reaction- don't give 2-3 doses on the first day, nor continue without signs of improvement first. What helped a little, was milder natural eye drops, also available on Amazon called: Dr. Goodpet Eye-C. I've used those for years, and have seen it help a few dogs and a cat, with minor watery eyes, or a little discharge (not discolored like green or yellow infection level, which requires antibiotics from your vet). It's not really for allergies, but I think it helped rinsed off the gel, and her eye improved after stopping the gel. I was concerned when I saw the warning reviews of needing the vet after this gel, and photo of a dog whose eyes sadly became severely inflamed, and hoped it wouldn't be the case for just mild allergies, but it's definitely possible these will not help. At least call your vet first, and ask if there's any recommendations for over-the-counter eye meds.- for people or pets- instead of this.

German Shepard “Pannus” Eye Condition
Thought we’d try these drops for our German Shepherd’s eye condition before taking her to the vet. The drops didn’t help. The vet diagnosed her with Pannus, a common condition in German Shepherds. Had never heard of it before. It is easily managed with prescription eye drops. Pannus looks like corneal abrasions, red eyes, oozing eyes and cloudy cornea. Heads up for fellow GS owners.
