If you are looking at this helmet and seriously considering it, my guess is that you are already familiar with MIPS technology in helmets and are willing to pay a premium for the added safety. If you aren't familiar with MIPS technology, I recommend that you look into it and decide if it is a safety feature that you are willing to pay extra for. If so, this helmet may be a great option for you. If not, you can find high-quality helmets without MIPS that have similar features as this helmet but sell for about half the price of this helmet.If you have determined that you do want a MIPS helmet and are willing to pay a bit extra for that safety feature, this is a very nice helmet. The materials and construction are all top notch. The ear pads and lining are soft and comfortable. It includes vents that can easily be opened or closed, easy BOA style dial sizing adjustment to get the fit just right, and a quality goggle strap holder.

I definitely would recommend getting the larger size for grown adults. I got the size large-x large and I'm glad I did because it fits me well. I would say it runs a tad small. The quality is very nice and it just feels great on. The MIPS technology is the reason why I wanted this helmet. I snowboard and have heard of the uvex brand with MIPS technology. The added safety is important to me for peace of mind and I think this is a good option.

This is a super warm and comfy helmet with a nice carry bag to protect it from dust when not in use. It is easy to adjust to fit your head perfectly and it is designed to absorb a pretty heavy hit and still be protect your head from a vast majority of the impact damage. Ski goggles and motorcycle masks can fit right into the front of the helmet with a clasp on the back which is used to keep your goggle strap secured to your helmet. The science behind how this helmet works to protect your head is what makes the helmet truly worth the price, details about are nicely explained in the user manual that is included as well. 5 stars easily! Helmet is very good looking. Fit is snug. We have a cheaper helmet that looks just like it. The other one is $50 vs this one at $230. This one is sized medium-large, the other was just medium. This one was more snug than the cheaper medium one. With that, I would recommend sizing up if debating size. I have no idea how to test the "crash ratings" which I'm assuming is the price differential, but I shall put this on my more accident prone child :)

This is a great helmet for Snowboarding. The ear pads are very comfortable. The back of the helmet where the extra strap is comes down pretty far on your head so if that bothers you you might want to pick a different helmet. The inside strap is adjustable for smaller heads. The inside is padded and very comfortable on your head. Strap on the back to keep your goggle attached to your helmet. Overall a great helmet for skiing or snowboarding.

I've used Uvex products for years, and they really last. The Uvex name means you're buying a quality helmet. Warm, nice fit. Sharp looking silver color. The fastener on the chin strap is a little different than most helmets. Be sure to take a look at the pics at the strap to see if that will work for you. Might be a little fritzy if you wanted to take the helmet on and off frequently, but I put mine on and keep it on. Highly recommend

The helmet itself seems fine. Really good construction and has most of the standard features that one look for in a helmet like adjustable sizing, open/close vents, and goggles securer. What annoys me the most though is that for how pricey this thing is, nowhere in the product descriptions give you an idea of accurate sizing. I typically wear S or M size helmets, depending on brands, so that's what I chose. It turned out to be way too tight, and of course I can't return or exchange it, so now I'm stuck with an expensive piece of equipment that I cannot use.I'm also not here to debate the effectiveness of the MIPS technology or if it's worth the price. I personally wouldn't shell out this kind of dough if it wasn't offered for a discounted price, but the end users can research and determine if that's something worth spending extra money on. In my opinion, they're almost the same as regular helmets.If you're considering buying this however, do size up, or prepare to do returns and exchange.

Very light , it’s more sliver than grey ,find the strap a bit fiddly very small shell ,feels very small on but a good fit not sure if I’ll use it snowboarding might keep it’s as a spare helmetI’m 50/50 on this helmet But I do think there’s better helmets out there for the same price

Ho acquistato questo casco per sostituire il mio precedente modello (di altra marca) ormai un pò danneggiato. Cercavo un casco con la chiusura micrometrica perchè sono sempre stato scettico riguardo la resistenza della classica molletta in plastica che hanno quasi tutti i caschi (colpa mia che non sono troppo delicato!).Questo Uvex ha tutto quello che cerco: chiusura micrometrica, ottima vestibilità, interno caldo e ottima ventilazione pur non avendo troppe levette che si potrebbero rompere, sistema Mips per un'ulteriore protezione della testa in caso di urto (non cercavo necessariamente questa caratteristica, ma non fa di certo male avere della sicurezza in più).Inoltre il colore arancione è stupendo, e la mia attuale maschera di altra marca si adatta alla perfezione. Nella confezione è incluso il sacchetto per custodirlo.Ottimo acquisto!

Ich verwende viele Produkte der Firma im Alltag. Schutzbrille, Fahrradhelm und Handschuhe um nur einige zu nennen. Ich habe bisher immer die Erfahrung gemacht, dass die Qualität sehr gut ist. Der Helm ist mein zweiter Skihelm der Marke und macht einen guten Eindruck. Die Farben gefallen mir sehr gut. Nicht zu auffällig aber auch nicht langweilig schwarz. Zudem lässt sich die Farbe einfach kombinieren. Der Sitz ist top - die Ohren werden gut geschützt und der Helm wackelt nicht. Wie beim Fahrradhelm auch, lässt sich der Sitz mit einem Drehrad an der Hinterseite optimieren. Das funktioniert schnell und einfach. Der Verschluss ist simple mit einer Hand zu öffnen. Er lässt sich fast stufenlos auf schließen. Im Gesamten ein toller Skihelm mit toller Optik - meine Empfehlung

Der Helm ist hochwertig und gut verarbeitet. Herstelldatum 2022.Leider sind der Helm und meine Kopfform (schmal und eher oval) nicht so gut kompatibel. Hinten drückt es. (Das Problem habe ich bei Helmen abhängig vom Modell öfter.) Deswegen und nur deswegen schicke ich den Helm zurück.Insgesamt fällt das Modell m.E. klein aus. Bei anderen Modellen gleicher Größe musste ich das Rädchen fast auf das engste einstellen, hier nicht...
