I'm not exactly sure how an oil can be more nourishing than the same kind of oil from another source, but it is.For years I had been using an olive-derived squalane oil from another brand that can be found here on Amazon. It worked fine, but in winter especially it often felt too thin. I was always curious about this brand and gave it a shot. And wow, seriously, wow. This oil is derived from sugarcane I believe and there's a truly noticeable difference between the oils.This sugarcane derived squalane is so much thicker than the olive oil squalane, but it sinks into your skin beautifully. My skin has felt so much more hydrated since using this compared to the olive oil squalane. I'm also not using more of it - the olive derived oil came in a dropper while this is a pump, but I only let a tiny amount out of the pump at a time. The amount of oil in the palm of my hand has been the same between both types.This oil, while expensive, also lasts a super long time. I've gotten many, many months, probably close to a year, out of a bottle with daily use.

I make my own skincare due to allergies and my skin being so sensitive to many commercial skincare lines. I use Boissance Squalane in my homemade skin care products like face wash, face serum, and body oil. Even when I use it alone, my skin loves it! It's not greasy and a little goes a LONG way...I am thrilled of how silky and smooth my skin is becoming by adding this to my routine. Who says sugar isn't good for your skin!! 🥰

Product is great. Soaks in, feels soft. But the packaging is downright dangerous. As other have said, if you try to unscrew the cap it WILL cut you.

Just purchased my second bottle of this after 6 months. A little goes a long way. I have very dry, red/inflamed facial skin and purchased so many products to get it under control. This product doesn’t clog my pores and works wonders. I dab this on after a shower/clean face, let it “soak in” (even though it is very lightweight) and about 10 minutes later I put my face lotion on over it. When I’m in a hurry I mix the product with my face lotion and it still seems to do the trick. My redness is under control for the first time in years without clogged skin.

I have dry acne prone skin and this stuff does not break me out. I tried the Ordinary Squalane which is also sugarcane derived and it started breaking me out. I think since this is bio fermented it actually works for the skin. I mix a few drops into my moisturizer and put a few drops on my face as a slugging method before I go to bed so I dont have to deal with the oily feeling as I really hate it, its a personal issue not a product issue. Best way to moisturize dry and acne prone skin.

Lovely, light oil that absorbs well. I haven’t used a skin oil before so wasn’t certain what to expect. I like this one. I’m using it on my hands nightly.

I am using it to remove eye makeup. It works very well.
