Greek Corinthian Helmet Ancient Medieval Armor Knight Spartan Replica Halloween Helmet

I bought one of these for my son for Christmas. I have no idea why he was so keen on having one, but he was desperate for Santa to bring him one...and Santa duly obliged.The Good:It's a full-size replica.Looks pretty authentic to my untrained eye.You can wear it (I may or may not have tried it on whilst shouting "THIS IS SPARTA!!!"The stand it comes with is handy, easy to screw together, and pretty sturdy.The Not So Good:The edges of the face guard are a bit sharp.It's marketed as black. It's not. It's grey/brown with these odd bronze coloured circular patches that have been deliberately dotted around it.The plume doesn't stand up straight, and the way it's attached is a bit naff (the entire plume has some thin wood glued round the bottom, and this slots into the top of the helmet).The metal part of the crest was loose on arrival (simply fixed by tightening a screw on the inside of the helmet).It looks good on display or worn, and I think it's good value for the price. I've docked a star for the fact that the plume has brewer's droop and that it's advertised as black but clearly isn't.

Perfect addition to the desk, don't know if it's strong enough to fight the trojans... But you won't be disappointed. May also tell family members THIS IS SPARTAAAA!!! 🧐🤣

great value for youre money and looks even better once you have weathered it

As you can see from the photo the finish is uneven and I will have to repaint it. As you can also see from the photo the cheek guards and eye slots are uneven AND poorly finished (the left eye slot is terrible at the crease). It did not come with the wooden stand as advertised. Overall I’d say it’s ok but not as advertised and for 50 quid I expected a much better product. I Will be complaining to amazon.

Well made and good value for money

Kinda disappointed. Arrived 2 weeks late, crest fixing rivets are very loose and there are three scratches on the cheek plates that show silver through the black coating.However, looks smashing on my display unit...

Beautiful and well made. Bought for my husband he loves it. Arrived well before estimated delivery. Would definitely buy from again.
