I've used a similar product before, but after several years, the battery no longer could hold a charge, rendering the belt useless. Unfortunately, the company that I purchased the belt from shut down. I was happy to see this on Amazon for a third of the price of my previous muscle stimulator belt. Honestly, I was a little skeptical because of the affordable price point, but at the same time hopeful that it would work since it looks exactly the same as my previous one. I'm happy to say that it gets the job done. The belt has 10 different programs that run for 20-30 minutes each. I like that I am able to increase the intensity on both the left and right sides to target all areas of my belly and further support my exercise regimen. I also think that it's ingenious that they use a glossy, rubber type material instead of gel pads that need to be replaced. This is definitely a plus since I don't have to spend for replacement gels in the future. It comes with a small spray bottle for you to spray the rubber pads with water so that it adheres to your skin. Other accessories include a USB charger, a drawstring carrying case, and a velcro belt extender that allows you to make the belt longer if needed. I used the belt right out of the box for a couple of times and it still has a full charge after a couple of days. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I am an Orthopedic PA from Buffalo NY and work in Sports Medicine and Surgery.I feel this belt is good for abdominal toning. Not ideal for weight loss or instant abs but it’s good for keeping your core tight on the off days. The modes go pretty high, I have yet to reach the highest setting due to an electrical shocking pain, so I just keep it on the lower settings till I can develop a tolerance.For what the products worth, I think it’s a pretty reasonable product. But in all reality please don’t think this is better than true exercise and a healthy diet. I would recommend trying to integrate this into a healthy workout program but don’t set it to high and hurt yourself.

I had an old flex belt, that stopped working. After a couple of years I decided to get a new one. It comes with no pads, which in the ad it appeared they had them but didn't say anything about them not coming with it. I've received it, I packed it back up and it will probably be sending it back as it is not what I ordered or thought I ordered. I had extra pads from the one before so I didn't think I needed to order any extra because I thought the first set would come after I spent over $150 for it. It's a piece of cheap crap that's manufactured in China. It seems like all the things coming from China are cheap products and they're advertising is extremely misleading

I had an earlier version of this product and was fairly satisfied with its performance over the past 14 months-plus. With its ultimate demise (which was not unexpected; these items are not designed for eternal use), I went back to this company and bought the "new and improved" model. It is much easier to put on, more comfortable to wear, doesn't require a lot of water to prevent shock or burn as you use it, and definitely seems better at maintaining its position on your body while you move (compared to its predecessor) thanks to improved Velcro placement.Altough there is a pocket available for the timer, it appears to work best when it is handheld. This is a mixed bag for me: On the previous model, the timer could be snapped on and off of the belt when appropriate. I like to perform other exercises with my arms while the ab unit runs, and holding the timer makes that impossible. The timer pocket is a tight fit -- perhaps it will loosen up upon continued use -- but for the moment, it feels awkward. (Also, for the record, the product I bought this time only has the ab belt, not the optional arm bands.) But, generally, it's in the same class as its predecessor (meaning I expect about 1 year of use at 60 minutes per day, five days per week), so it's worth the money if it lasts that long.Time will tell how effective this is at toning ab muscles. I'm not expecting to look like an Olympic swimmer -- that's not what this type of device is designed to do -- but it would be great if I get the same compliments I've been getting about looking like I've lost weight (I'd actually gained 5 pounds but dropped an inch off my waistline over 8 months, then kept it off for another 6).I've enjoyed working with this company in the past -- the customer service has been terrific -- and I'll probably order from it again in the future.UPDATE 10/6/24: It appears that this company is out of business. The product link from Amazon goes to a "page no longer exists" message, and the company's actual link doesn't work. Bummer. Also, don't get it confused with the "M-Body" or "M/Body" sites, which are physical therapy and Yoga-related.

The Pro Abdominal Fitness Abs Workout Belt is fantastic! It fits comfortably and adjusts easily. It supports my abs during workouts and feels durable. Lightweight and easy to wear.

I'm usually too lazy to do abs at the gym or at home, but now that I got this abdominal belt, I feel like I'm doing abdominal work without much effort, but with an effectiveness that you can feel in the muscles. I really like this device.

I really havent figured out how to get this thing to do the same thing consistently every time. It seems the settings are not really settings. Sometimes you can put it on option 1 for 20 minutes and handle a setting of 20/20 but that 20/20 will never quite be the same. Sometimes you gotta put it on 70/45 to get the same feel as the original 20/20 that you knew worked for you. And half the time no matter what it just doesn't really work it just shocks you.Simply put when it works it does what it is supposed to do, however there is just no way to consistency to get it to work the same way every time. Could potentially even be dangerous with the shocks too.
