Premium Quality Grinder – Built to Last, Beautiful to Use
Build Quality:This grinder is made entirely from solid metal — no plastic, no compromises. It has a professional feel in hand: solid, weighty (but not too heavy), and beautifully machined with textured grip for control. Every part feels engineered with precision, and it's the kind of quality you'd expect in a high-end café setting.Grind Quality:As a proper burr grinder, it delivers impressively consistent grind sizes. Whether you're dialling in for espresso or going coarser for pour-over or French press, the burrs do their job beautifully. The coffee particles come out uniform, which leads to a noticeably better extraction and flavour.Functionality:The grinder performs exactly as you’d hope. It’s efficient, precise, and surprisingly fast for a manual model. The folding handle is a brilliant touch — locking firmly in place when in use and tucking away neatly when not. This makes it ideal for travel or saving counter space in smaller kitchens.Ease of Use:Once set up, it’s incredibly satisfying to use. The handle turns smoothly with just the right amount of resistance, and the ergonomics are spot on. Setting the grind size can be a little fiddly at first (especially for beginners), but once it’s dialled in, the workflow is smooth and consistent.Design:The minimalist, matte black aesthetic looks fantastic and feels premium. It's compact and sleek, with no unnecessary frills — everything serves a purpose. The folding handle adds both form and function, and the whole device feels like a refined, professional tool.Ease of Cleaning:It comes apart easily for basic cleaning, and the surfaces wipe down nicely. No grounds get stuck in awkward places, and maintenance is minimal — a big plus for something you’ll use every day.Final Thoughts:If you’re passionate about coffee and want a grinder that delivers on build quality, grind performance, and design, this is absolutely worth it. It’s a beautifully engineered piece of kit that brings quality and satisfaction to your daily coffee ritual. Highly recommended.

Well made, easy to use, grinds perfectly.
Can't fault it. Well made, easy to use, grinds beautifully and easily. Very very glad I bought it.7 grinds very fine indeed. Have gone to 20 for a cafettiere level grind. Works for me anyway.Nice heavy metal feel, cleaning brush is useful. Holds exactly the right amount of beans (2 scoops). Very glad I bought it and finally I have a manual coffee mill!

The next step to great coffee
A quick review (sort of). I had the opportunity to taste some pre-ground coffee, namely Lavazza Oro Mountain grown and it had such a rich smooth chocolatey taste and that was without any milk or sugar, I was hooked. Even though I did occasionally drink good quality instant (So I thought) and enjoyed it at coffee shops, this was very different. So, as I was drinking the Lavazza, brewed in an orthodox method as I had no coffee equipment, I went about researching and found the guru of coffee, James Hoffman on youtube. I think I then fell in a deep rabbit hole but my rationale kept me from sinking too far, as getting into that world could become very expensive and I didn’t want that. After watching many videos my first modest investment was an Aeropress. This works very well with the pre-ground coffee and my enjoyment went up a step. The next step was to start grinding beans myself for the truer experience (although only supermarket sourced which could be months old, ideally fresher roasted bean suppliers are the ultimate) another complex path but I stuck to my guns. After some research and advice from forums, I landed on this, the Timemore C2 grinder.I waited for the prime sale and got this at a good price.I understand quality engineering, being a graduate in it, and this grinder exudes quality. Even though to coffee connoisseur this is a budget tool, it feels and functions higher end. Granted I have not tried the more expensive versions but for me, this is superb in my modest world. As this is around the 3rd iteration, two non-folding prior, they’ve upgraded the adjustment dial to metal from plastic. It’s easy to setup, though may require some testing depending on beans but plenty of information available on the internet. The aroma of fresh ground beans, wow. My level of coffee has gone up another step. Comes with a cleaning brush which is very useful, a carrying bag as its designed for travel plus some instructions. My reason for getting a manual grinder was budget. At this sort of budget you could get a electric grinder but it would be constrained someway, mostly with an inferior motor and possibly fail early. You really have to pay much more for a entry level goof electric grinder. By removing the motor element, more could be spent on the mechanism and structure and so, we have this, especially it having high quality steel grinding burrs than faster wearing ceramic. So, very pleased with this and hopefully it should last several years or more. Perhaps at one point the burrs may need sharpening or replacing, depending what’s possible.

Perfect Budget Hand Grinder
To preface this review, I am using this for pour overs and Aero Press only, not espresso.Build quality is superb and the grinder itself has a nice premium weight to it.Grinder is very easy to use, clean and adjust.Have knocked off a star as the step difference can be slightly too large, however I have not had too big an issue with this. The grind size is incredibly consistent and will still brew an amazing cup of coffee. Great value for money and I see myself using this until it breaks.
