I use a cane so when I sit in my chair or lay in bed I pull out the cabinet drawer by those places and lay the cane across the open drawer. Over time I've nicked up the open drawer's top edge terribly. This self-stick edging was just what I needed for a quick repair. I now have nice edges on the drawer tops that still allows the drawer to be closed. As an added benefit the cane sits snugly on the rubber edge and doesn't slide about AND the edge provides a soft landing spot for my cane that prevents noise. The latter is great for those late night bathroom visits in the dark. This will help me avoid waking my wife. One thing of note : The paper strip you have to pull off to expose the sticky surfaces is difficult to get ahold of. A razor blade enabled me to slip under the paper strip to grasp it. Also, care must be taken to not pull off the sticky strip along with its paper cover. A bit fiddly but well worth the effort.

I have an AboveTEK Portable Laptop Lap Desk with Retractable Mouse Pad Tray that I purchased from Amazon. I love it, but the mouse pad is very slippery, and my mouse would not stay on it even at the slightest tilt of the lap desk. It was getting so annoying having my mouse fall off onto the floor, get stuck in the cushions, etc. I purchased the 1/2" U-channel, and it was the perfect solution. My only issue is what do I do with the 19.5' of the U-channel? LOL. I'm sure I'll find some use for it, but it was worth the money for what I needed it for.

Used these on my Cookware organizer (the divider teeth), and they slotted in nicely and snugly. So far, they've held up really well, and I feel confident in these protecting my cookware.
