Braun TS755A TexStyle 7 Variable Steam Iron, 400 ml, 2400 W, White/Purple

Super Iron,it is true what they say, If you buy Quality and not Quantity or Cheaper, then you get the Best, and this Iron ticks all the boxes, it is a super easy Iron to use, it glides just like it says when Ironing, it does not snag on things, the cut-off does work, so if you get called away from ironing for a phone call or some such, you are safe in the knowledge that it has switched off. It reaches temperature quickly and because it is so easy to use, although it has a high wattage, the ironing is done quickly as it just glides through creases and just freshtens up flash objects. The only thing I should have done is had the same Iron with the Extra Sole Plate that fits on to the bottom so as to protect your silks and fragile items for ironing, that was an oversight on my part, I will have to find out if I can buy this extra Footplate seperately, as it would be a very useful item. I used this Iron again yesterday, and All I can say is it that it MAKES IRONING FUN AND NOT A CHORE IT IS SOOO EFFECIENT AND EASY TO USE IT DOES THE WORK FOR YOU, HOW CAN IRONING BE A PLEASURE AND DONE QUICKLY. WELL USE THE BRAUN TS755 IRON it is FANTASTIC. I LOVE THE IRON AND THE TIME TO IRON SIMPLE THINGS IS NOW CUT IN HALF. The Secret I have found, is that if you Buy a Special Underlay for your Ironing Board, and a Good Quality Cover, it acts as a Second Iron, because as you Iron, it holds the heat, and when you turn the item over, it is partially ironed for you.So get those items too, and YOU TOO WILL ENJOY IRONING

Very good iron especially as I bought it on Prime day. Glides and irons beautifully. The only issue is that the plug won’t go into a socket. I have to Use it with an adapter. X

Great iron. I ordered my first one from Amazon. It never arrived, despite Hermes claiming to have had a signature on delivery. The seller however was very understanding and I received a full refund without hassle. I sourced a replacement elsewhere and have to say I'm really happy with the iron. It's heavy, and chunky (like a dutch barge of the ironing world) which I quite like. The water reservoir is generous sized and easy to fill using a jug. You dont need to use distilled water either, which is a great advantage. It's a very easy to use iron, with clearly marked dial control, responsive heating up and cooling down times, and a good length cord, which means you aren't having to use an extension cord. The iron glides over clothing and linens making short work of everything from delicates to duvets and sheets. On full steam, it chugs along like a steam train, Ironing on the middle setting and using the steam function in the centre setting takes care of most of the daily ironing. If I have particularly difficult dry and creased bed linen to iron, I move up to full steam, and it's a doddle. For T shirts and shirts, the ironing is so much quicker, and everything looks crisp and fresh when finished. It doesnt stick, and it doesnt end up covered in gunk. Am absolutely delighted with this iron. It's worth the money.

I've had for a while now and really good. However, it would have taken 5 stars if the handle was a bit further apart from the settings on top of the water reservoir and I noted some limescale coming out of the plate at the bottom despite the fact that given the characteristics this should not happen. It happened however only once but I run the risk of dirtying my shirt which really made angry. After all, this item is not cheap at all.

Having returned 2 irons from another manufacturers because of leakage it was wonderful to use a product which worked without a problem. Apart from having an acceptable length of cord its design is excellent and very easy to use. The water reservoir is sort of see through meaning you see the full water level whilst ironing. The capacity is also large so you can use this a lot longer before having to refill. I was a bit skeptical of the handle design but having used it I prefer it to the more conventional full handle. Very impressed all round

Apart that the iron lose water like a fall, which means it needs to be repaired or replaced, in general the quality is low. It doesn't hold vertically, any small hit it falls to the floor damaging everything. Who is the engineer that design an iron like this? First and last time with Braun

Great iron, fab steam, uses alot of water but overall its great.

This was a lovely iron to use - it moved smoothly (glid? glided? glideded? I feel an Eddie Izzard sketch coming on...) over fabric and did a great job and getting creases out of clothes dried inside. Unfortunately I seem to have received a faulty unit and it leaked so much water when being used that I had to hang clothes back up to dry and my ironing board would be half soaked. Thankfully Amazon were great about taking the iron back and issuing a refund.

J'ai longuement hésité avant de changer de marque de fer à repasser, car depuis des années j'utilisais des fers Calor qui me donnaient satisfaction. Mais, après avoir vu les appréciations positives des utilisateurs de ce Braun sur les différents sites amazon, j'ai finalement succombé à l'attrait de la nouveauté. Bien m'en a pris, car ce fer est une agréable surprise. Il offre une très bonne glisse avec sa semelle très large. Son jet de vapeur réglable et bien réparti assure un repassage efficace. Il est simple à remplir et à vider. La semelle chauffe très rapidement et le câble d'alimentation est d'une longueur appréciable (2,50m), plus long que sur mes anciens fers Calor. Le seul reproche peut-être à lui faire, si je devais en trouver un, c'est la base du fer qui n'est pas suffisamment large pour lui assurer une stabilité à toute épreuve en position verticale. Sinon, il reste une très bonne alternative aux grandes marques habituelles.

Ich habe dieses Bügeleisen nach den Rezensionen gewählt und nach allen Anstrengungen die ein Umzug mit sich bringt erst mal links liegen gelassen .... . Ich habe Erfahrungen mit alten Bügeleisen meiner Mutter und Schwiegermutter, die noch schwieriger zu handhaben waren und Bügelkunst erforderten. Mein Mann hat dann ein sehr teures Bügeleisen auf einer Messe erstanden, das so seine Tücken hatte.... Dieses Braun Bügeleisen ist nun eine Erholung für mich: Die Beschreibung ist in Ordnung - man kann sie hier auch beiseite legen und selbst probieren! Das Wasser geht problemlos einzufüllen und man sieht wunderbar die Höhe des Wassereinfüllstandes (natürlich in aufgestellter Position!!!) Die Regler für Temperatur und Dampfdruck sind sehr einfach und bequem zu bedienen! Das Bügeleisen liegt mit seinem "offenen" Griff wunderbar in der Hand, ist leichtgewichtig und ausgezeichnet zu führen! Die Bügelsohle ist so super gleitend wie angegeben und das Bügelergebnis perfekt! Ich habe damit auch einen sehr schweren und harten Baumwollmöbelbezugsstoff, der mit den vorhergehenden Bügelgeräten fast gar nicht zu bearbeiten ging, im leicht angefeuchteten Zustand nun perfekt glatt gebügelt bekommen! Sehr sehr gut finde ich auch den eingebauten Dampf-Stop, wenn das Bügeleisen in die aufrechte Position gestellt, also abgestellt wird: ein Nach-Dampfen + Zischen entfällt, das Wasser im Behälter wird gespart! ABER: nach dem Bügeln immer in senkrechter Position aufbewahren!! das lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Sorry this newer model does not have a Textile Protector like its predecessor model had. I found that very useful and effective. This CANNOT accommodate one. Thanks.

I had this iron shipped to Camp Marmal, Afghanistan. This is the perfect iron for my needs. I like the weight and ruggedized construction. The steam function is the best feature as I have heavy cotton clothing and this iron pressing out all the creases and wrinkles. Braun knows how to make an iron for a man.
