Very good product, but this version could be better
Whilst this is my third Bike Cave (as it is the only suitable product for where I can store bikes), they have all been different due to modifications over time, the first sadly secumbed to the elements over a number of years so wasnt really suitable for long term use, the second was written off due to an animal wrecking the roof, this third one hopefully will survive a lot longer as immediately I notice the improved material being so much more durable and thicker, so the elements and animals shouldn't be able to take it's toll, and the extra 'roof top' cover will be a great extra protection.Overall the products have always been perfect, HOWEVER what I would say in this current version is that there are some considerable differences that took me by surprise:1) there are no side airvents which helped contents on previous version2) front door panel does not seal up completely as there is no bottom zip, just small velcro fastening points, leaving significant open access that I'm not really comfortable with so will have to invest in additional seals to protect contents3) I don't believe the new base being a kind of mesh lining will actually last and therefore will tear or secumb to ground water/moisture over time4) whilst the extra roof layer is a great idea, how you attach and secure it is poorly described in the instructions and actually not well thought through so needed a little initiative rather than follow instructions.5) oh and the extra poles supplied, don't actually fit any part of the cave...??Overall I will always look for this type of product owing to it's suitability, so despite the above, it's still the only suitable solution for my needs.

Disappointing quality
As other have mentioned, the quality is less than ideal It's made of thin material that is not completely waterproof; the first significant rain we had an the tent gained a large puddle which needed bailing out. The first blustery day and the fixings that were screwed to the garden wall ripped out of the tent. After 6 months we had a particularly stormy few days, and the tent fell over. The bikes inside (one adult and two child) ripped holes in the fabric. A few days later it was shredded and taken to the tip.I would not buy this product again, it does not meet my needs. HOWEVER for a quick storage on a camping holiday (with good weather) I'm sure it would be fine. Just don't expect it to be a permanent cycle storage for your garden.PROs: lightweight, packs up small, easy to assemble, decent internal storageCONs: poor quality, not completely waterproof, does not survive more than a few months outdoors

good short term solution to my space issues
Turned up quickly, I put it up in 10 minutes - absolutely fool proof. I squeezed three bikes in there, screwed it to the fence post & zipped it up. Considering it poured down all weekend, there was a small puddle of water on the groundsheet but the bikes were dry. It does it's job. Doubt it will last very long, as there are parts of the tent that rub against parts of the bikes, but if it gets through the winter; (i'm sure it will) I will replace it with something more robust & it will have done it's job. Good value & easy to store when not in use - for less than £40 - what's to lose?

Couldn’t fault this product
Absolutely can not fault this! Brought it as a shelter for my motorbike as just moved into my first home and getting something proper built would be a little costly. So figured why not try this.It doesn’t fit all of my motorbike in, like an inch or two of the front wheel pokes out... however I made two slits down the side to allow for extra room and the velcro tie backs really help to keep it protected from the weather. It is waterproof, hasn’t ripped, is thick, practical and it arrived on time and undamaged.

In summary you pays your money, you take your choice.
Bought this in May 2016. It cost £34.99 at the time As per earlier comments the fabric was not completely waterproof and there were times when there would be a pool of water in the base after a period of rainfall. I had this erected permanently in my back garden to store my bicycles. As of October 2017 I can report that the fabric has failed and is now shredded. (see photo)As a comparison I also have a permanently erected a purpose designed fishing tent which was put up at the same time. This was not new but in good condition when I erected it. This is still showing no sign of water ingress or deterioration of the fabric.I would suggest that the bike tent would make a good temporary store but is not durable enough for longer term permanent use.In summary you pays your money, you take your choice.

Not waterproof. Not even a little.
Bought to store the kids new bikes from Santa but this "Durable Weatherproof tent" is absolute rubbish and has actively damaged the new bikes.* It is NOT weatherproof - Leaks so much that all contents are literally soaked and sat in a few inches of water after each shower.* Worse than not being waterproof - it pools the water in the tent, so even after the rain stops, your bikes are still sat in a damp, wet environment.* Build quality is poor - labels and seams are a mismatch of poor finishing with several of the "eyes" (for putting the poles into) missing or misaligned* Components seem very old - When building, the parts seemed like they had sat in a warehouse for many years, creaky springs, worn packaging etc. Most of this I could put up with, but I'll be returning it because it leaks catastrophically rendering it the ideal environment to turn the bikes it is supposed to protect into rusty hunks of crap.

Came on time
Came on time, erected in about 5 mins with no instructions. Brought this solely for going camping as we have a campervan and need something quick and easy to put up. Have not actually been away with it yet only had it up in the garden seems ok. Not sure if it would last long if it was used as a shed.
