Nice place to hide
I like this little log, I have a smaller tank for my fighter, Delta, and as much as he likes to hide around his plants I felt that he might enjoy another place to go with he's bored of showing off and asking for food. Since I've already got the Zoo Med floating log which I love so I thought that this would be a good addition. It seems very small, and when I unpacked it wasn't sure if it would even be suitable for Delta as its only 11 cm long, 4.5 cm wide and 6 cm high (including the top stump bit. However once I placed it inside the tank and he had gone through it, and stayed within it for a while the size seems just the right size. There aren't any sharp edges or bumps that fins or tails will get court on so I'm pleased about that. Delta enjoys swimming through it as well as laying (sort of) in it so I feel that its been worth buying. I'll see if I can upload a picture showing it in the tank with Delta, and a size comparison picture against the floating log for anyone who is unsure

My yoyo and zebra loaches love it, they sleep in it
I have 2 of these logs in my 90L tank with a variety of tropical fish and live plants. My yoyo and zebra loaches love it, they sleep in it, and play by swimming through it after each other all the time. One of the logs has become slightly discoloured over the past months though (turning white). This may be because my pleco has been sucking at it though....!

Smaller
At first I wasn’t sure about these I bought 2 for my Betta again I gave no stars as they do not have suction they are ceramic so sink to bottom of tank. They’re small but I’ve got them in amongst my live plants so far Betta don’t look at them But neon tetra enjoy swimming in and out of them

Smaller than the floating log
Purchased the floating log and wrongly assumed this log would be the same size. It’s not it’s a lot smaller, however Mr. Blue my Betta fish is using it, but his favourite is the floating log. (Available on Amazon) highly recommended.

Worthwhile purchase
No issues. Betta loves it. It's much smaller than I expected. If you have the Zoo Med floating log, the ceramic log is about the same length but maybe half as small in circumference. The ceramic log can probably fit inside the floating log.

I am giving my little sister a 3 gallon Betta tank for Christmas since she loves helping me with my fish tanks so much, this little Betta log looks like it'll be a great hide for her Betta tank! The first time it came broken, but I got a new undamaged one within 4 days! Some people said the edges were sharp and needed sanding, but this one wasnt sharp or rough around the edges at all! (The ceremic would be easy enough to file down for a Bettas delicate fins though!) I like the appearance and size, really cute little hideout for a Betta! Or other smaller fish!

I have a African Dwarf frog in a ten gallon tank. I also own other larger tanks. I love bettas and plan on getting another one son. I already own two floating Betta logs. When I saw this one, I knew I wanted to add it to my collection of aquarium accessories that I keep on hand to rotate from time to time. I put this in the tank with the frog. He hasn't found it yet, but I'm sure he'll like it. This replaced a piece of PVC pipe I had in the tank and he loved swimming through it. I rinsed it out thoroughly when I received it, ensured there were no sharp edges and just put it in. It seems durable enough to last several years. It is made of a heavy plastic and does stay on the bottom of the tank without having to weight it down. In the tank, it nearly looks like a real piece of wood. Overall, a great purchase that I recommend without hesitation. It arrived promptly and exactly as described.
