Exactly what I needed
I had to repair a bayou style cooker. Regulator and hose needed to be replaced. Original hose had the orifice pushed in as part of a barbed fitting. I had to either cut new hose and risk ID's might not be the same or find a new fitting. Not cutting a new hose. This fitting was perfect to mate with standard hose setups with 1/8mpt for the burner sides. Works great, nice blue flame on my 4" burner. By the way, some of the regulator and hose setups on Amazon come with a fitting that looks similar, but there is no orifice in the fitting. Not what you need for a bayou style burner.

Drilled it ot to 1/16 inch diameter, works great
The orifice size is #57 or 0.0430 inch diameter. I bought it to convert my Brinkman BBQ/Smoker over to natural gas from propane. The hole was not quite large enough the get the temperature up enough so I drilled it out with a 1/16 inch drill or 0.0625 inch diameter and I was able to obtain the temperature range I wanted, that is, low of 195 F up to 400F which works for me.

Not needed for the Dura Steel Burner
I bought this for the DuraSteel burner I ordered because of the frequently ordered together at the bottom of the screen thinking I would need it. Well don't fall for that. You don't. All I needed for the burner was the hose and regulator, a 6 inch x 3/4 nipple and brass compression reducer. A little pipe dope and that was it. This was not needed or ever will be needed. This is a gas orifice that goes to a burner manifold. Again not needed for the Durasteal burners. Save your money for what you really need.

Leaking
Used it for an outdoor fryer. Lasted 15 months, then broke. Started leaking at the seal immediately following the black knob which tightens the hose to the propane tank.
