A work colleague shared how good this little tool is and this led to me purchasing one and it is so good at removing sticky residue from windows!

I was skeptical after reading another review saying the blade holder was cheap. I had the complete opposite experience, this kit did a magnificent job removing the nasty cracked up clear bra installed on the rear fender guards of my 2006 Tundra when it was originally purchased. Here's what I'd share about the product and my experience removing a clear bra with the product: First, I think it's important to understand the blades are sharpened on both sides, but the cutting edge itself is ONE SIDED. You MUST install the blade as described on the instructions inside the box, with the blade angled side up. If you install the blade upside down, it will pop right out or not work well. During install, if you align the blade's center hole with the notch on the holder, it clicks right in and pressure applied while working keeps the blade in the holder. You can spin the blade around 180° when the blade edge is dull to use the other cutting surface. I've seen people hone the edge with ultra-fine grit sandpaper to extend the life, but with so many blades in the kit, I preferred getting a fresh edge periodically as I worked through my task. When using this for decal removal on painted surfaces, I found out the hard way you can't exceed a 10-15° angle from the work surface else you risk paint or panel damage. As you'll see on my pictures, I got closer to 25-30° at one point and nicked my plastic panel. Shame on me, learn from my mistake. In 35-40 minutes per side, I was able to cleanly remove both clear bra sections with very few tools: this blade kit, a Wagner heat gun, paper towels and Turtle Wax Renew Rx Label & Sticker Remover. I started by heating the top 2-3 inches of the sticker with a heat gun, then working downward to skim the sticker portion off in half-inch sections. I needed to re-heat the sticker periodically. I went in small sections rather than trying to tackle it all at once, slow and steady wins the race. It took 3 blades (using both blade edges) to remove the plastic decal on each side. I tried a couple of things to remove the adhesive afterward, including the old WD40 trick which I found super inefficient. I finally broke down, went to the store for the Turtle product above, which I should've started with, worked like a charm. The adhesive peeled off in a snap, just sprayed the Turtle product on, wait 1-2 minutes, then work a fresh blade downward at a 10-15° angle just like when I removed the sticker. The blades did a FANTASTIC job! I repeated the blade/Turtle treatment twice to get most of the adhesive off. After two passed, I spun the blade around to a clean edge, did one last pass to get residual adhesive off, then treated it one last time and wiped the panel clean with a paper towel. Pics of my end result speak for themselves. I would ABSOLUTELY buy this product again! Except ... I don't need to. I only used 1/10th of the blades you receive! Awesome! I can't recommend this product enough for automotive/detailing purposes! Does what it's supposed to, and I will definitely be using this on a couple of my bikes with unwanted stickers and adhesive!
