Heavy but great for the winter bike
I use these on my mountain bike, commuting bike and now my winter road bike. Yes they are heavy but paired with a decent set of winter tyres they are almost puncture proof. Prior to this I've had a few occasions sat at the side of the road in winter, trying to fix a puncture with freezing hands. When these slime tubes have 'punctured' I've pulled out the thorn or piece of glass. Seen a little bit of green slime come out but managed to pump the tyre back up and got home with having to remove the tyre. On a few occasions I've ended up removing the tube at home and added a scab repair patch but then once back in the wheel I have no more bother. Might not be everyone's cup of tea on a lightweight carbon road bike (assuming you're not tubeless anyway) but great for a winter hack.

50/50 coin flip if these work.
These things can be a coin flip if they actually do anything and block a puncture. Sometimes they work with very small pin hole punctures. Other times they can actually make a hole larger because of the filling pushing out too much even under low tyre pressure (40-PSI). The filling can also make it hard to impossible to use puncture repair patches sometimes. Patches don't stick.I would probably just buy normal inner tubes in the future and just patch them if they get holes. Invest in some nice puncture resist tyres instead.

just does not work
I constantly get punctures and really got tired about it - thought this will be solution, but it just does not work.First of all valves are very cheap and does not inspire confidence - tyre states 60PSI and when pumped to this limit the valves would lose ~10PSI per day! This on itself was discouraging, but because it seems good quality presta valves are few and far between I just pumped them before each ride. The key issue comes with key feature - one day tyre just suddenly deflated... puncture again! then there was long weekend and I didn't ride, so on Monday I thought I will check what happened and replace the tube if needed. Took it out and the tyre was full of green liquid - I thought this should be much thicker and glue like and further I thought I should harden immediately, never mind over 3 days. Finally, I found a small pin hole in the tube (~2mm long) and green stuff was oozing from it - no apparent way how this "liquid" could block the hole. It does have some kind of fibers mixed in, but clearly the green glue was not reacting with anything and stayed in liquid from even after 3 days.As I have ordered 4, just replaced with another one, but somehow I don't have much hope of it working better than any other tube, just leave more mess in the and.

Works for me.
I've used these for a few months. One has saved two punctures. First one I was unaware that anything happened but I noticed a small amount of slime had sprayed out onto inside of mudguard, so it must have sealed a leak. Second time, I heard a brief hiss of air as I was going along, but tyre stayed inflated. Again, slime had sprayed out onto the frame, so again it fixed a puncture and saved me having to stop and change tubes. Tyre has retained pressure and I'm happy to trust the slime to keep working rather than changing tubes. There will be limits, but that's definitely two occasions when I didn't have to stop and change tubes at the side of the road. They are a bit heavier than normal tubes, but makes no discernable difference to performance of the bike. Recommended.

Good
Easy to fit, little leak, but stays solid. Decent for the price.

Slime works for me, and if you have Presta valves then get pre-filled tubes rather than trying to fill them yourself!
A couple of years ago I was getting punctures almost weekly on my commute to Central London on my old bike, which had Schraeder (car style) inner tube valves. I applied a tube of Slime ( SLIME PUNCTURE PREVENTOR ), which is a doddle with Schraeder valves, and I never had the problem again. So, thumbs up for the underling product - Slime.I moved further out of London and upgraded to a hybrid road bike that came with Presta (thin, fiddly) valved inner tubes. I wanted to add slime, but after a bit of research I found that it is bloomin fiddly (to say the least) to add slime through a Presta valve. Despairing at your tube instructional videos I bought these, pre-filled, Slibe Tubes.Installing the new tubes was a lot easier than I feared, and if this is something you worry about I strongly suggest that you take the plunge and do it yourself - it's better to change your first tube at your leisure, and get a feel for how to do it on your bike, than in the cold and wet by the side of the road half way home! Youtube is your friend - there's lots of great instructional videos on there. The tubes make a satisfying squelchy sound when you handle them, reassuring you of the Slimey goodness within. Some cycling purists sniff at Slime and talk about wheel balance and such, but I have never noticed such a thing and I don't think your average commuter or leisure cyclist would notice either. One final thing - these will, definitely, reduce your chances of getting a flat on route but they will not eliminate that chance. Always carry a spare tube, pump and suitable tools (tyre leavers, wrench to get the wheel bolts off and pliers if you have hub gears) and make sure you have practiced changing the tube with the same kit that you'll have with your - train hard, fight easy!
