These are wonderful for reading in low light situations, especially menus & recipes. Well made, purse & pocket size & a nice, bright little spotlight. I love them.

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Item arrived just as described. This appears to be a well-made and quality item. Awesome price that includes 2 batteries already inside each of the 4 Flashlights. IMPORTANT NOTE: to protect the batteries lifespan, these flashlights have a tiny red plastic disc inside each one to block the batteries form making contact. Before using the flashlights, unscrew the top and the tiny red disc will fall out, screw top back on and you have light. Also as a warning, the flashlights have a wonderful feature of having a pocket clip snapped onto each of them. But don't do what I did, and yank the flashlight out of the cardboard holder. The pocket clip is snapped onto the cardboard, and instead of ripping the flashlight off the cardboard, you need to slide it off the end of the cardboard. Not a big deal, the clip snapped off the flashlight and stayed attached to the cardboard. It is a spring clip and I just snapped it back onto the flashlight and it was perfect. The light is very bright. Some reviews say the opposite, but you need to realize - a penlight is for up close work. If you need to light up something in a room, grab a full size flashlight. I actually was replacing a 40 year old pen light I kept inside my medicine cabinet for looking into my mouth to spot a sore or maybe into my ear to spot a concern. This penlight is 3 times as bright as my old penlight was. I Recommend. Good Luck.

Bought these to use with a Schlera Lens plunger. Fits perfect for my needs. Battery life is ok. Easily fits in a purse or take on a trip. B right light

Nice inspection light, not super bright so as to blind you looking at things up close. Batteries rattle around a little in the tube, sometimes causing a slight flicker? On the other hand, if you have one that swells a little, it will be easier to get them out. Original batteries don't last too long, but they only advertise 2 hours, and they exceeded that. Tail switch is stiff. I paid less than $2 each, so a good deal.

I used these as stocking stuffers and every single person who got them (all adults over 40) was delighted. It's a small, lightweight, clear little light that fits in a pocket or purse easily. The carbon gray color this pack came in was really nice, too. Several people said they preferred it to black, which surprised me. They do come with batteries; you just need to remove the red plastic dot on the inside that prevents the battery from making contact. We haven't had them long enough to speak to their durability or battery life, but my spouse has been using theirs daily even over other lights. They actually asked if we could get a few more to tuck into pencil holders and cabinets around the house. This flashlight pack is a great deal and very useful.

Nice and bright up to 10-12 feet. Nothing loose inside and the switch feels strong and tactile. The aluminum body has a quality feel and look. Will be buying more of these.

Arrives in a 4 pack these aluminum penlights are a great deal, even comes with 2 AAA batteries in each one. Bright light for a variety of uses. Walk the dog at night, work under the hood, you name it. The top screws off to replace the batteries and there is a pocket clip at the other end. Very nice finish on the ones I got. I plan to use them as stocking stuffers for my adult kids; of course I will keep one for me.

Hands down the best little pen lights. The only thing that could possibly make them better is a built in magnet. But a small rare earth magnet on the clip does the trick.

Ordered another set of 4 torches as the first batch proved to be very useful around the home. They perform really well, have good brightness and seem to be well built. Great as pocket torches or for leaving in car or workshop for when a bright directed beam of light is required. I haven't experienced any of the issues other reviwers noted re rattling of the batteries in the unit - they seem very secure to me. Shaking the torch does not induce any flicker in my units.
