Has it strong bergamot ?

I don't think the bergamot flavour is very strong. You can definitely smell and taste it but it is very subtle. For me, it's the best Earl Grey I have tasted but I don't let it stand for too long only about 1 minute before pouring it into the cup from the teapot. Hope this helps.

How much caffeine does a teaspoon of this roughly have ?

No idea, as this information is not available on the package. Information online says that tea has half the caffeine of coffee and the lighter the tea, the less caffeine it contains. This is a high quality black leaf tea, from Sri Lanka and other countries it says on the label, which yields a stronger, darker brew than other Earl Grey teas, such as Twinings, by comparison, but that also depends on how strong you make it!

Aromatic and strong

Very good black tea, aromatic and strong. A huge step-up from ordinary supermarket brands, and for an affordable price. It's a relief to know that I can still get high-quality tea despite being a student on a budget. The difference in taste is immediately noticeable, and you need a smaller amount to achieve the same strength of tea, which makes it even more of a good deal. I'll definitely stick to this brand as my regular basic black tea.

Good quality, low price

This tea is delicious, good quality, large leaves, no dust. My only complaint is not about the product itself, but its price on Amazon. If you are lucky enough to live near a Turkish Food Centre (TFC) you can buy the same 500g pack for £6 less. That's £3.45 for 500g, instead of £9.45. Unfortunately I live out in the sticks, miles from any TFC, so I have to bite the bullet and pay Amazon's price. But the tea itself I can highly recommend to Earl Grey connoisseurs.

Just the best earl grey tea

This is absolutely delicious the best earl grey you can buy. I buy the large box and if you keep the bag sealed the flavour stays true until the last cup, perfect and good value too.

Lovely flavour

I love this tea. Very subtle flavours and easy to vary the strength. I always take tea without milk so cannot comment how this would taste with milk added. A little goes a long way and this is such good value as well as being environmentally friendly in not using tea bags. I just put a teaspoon in a stainless steel tea diffuser, pour over boiling water and leave for about 2 minutes depending on the strength I want. Perfect.

Excellent tea( in my opinion)

I have tried many makes of earl grey tea leaves and had found Tescos finest came top of my list until I tried Ahmed over 2 yrs ago .Since it is the only tea I have really enjoyed and love to get up in the morning to a pot of it.One needs to get the exact balance as it is stronger than other earl grey teas and therefore just a teaspoonful is enough for a pot if left 5 mins to brew.Do try it.

Perfumed I suppose

Would have given no stars if possible.Pathetic and tastes as if it’s perfumed. I love twinnings earl grey and just thought of trying a new brand and it turned out to be so disgusting in ended in the trash.

Good value tasty everyday EG tea.

Very good value EG tea. Not fancy, and not a leafy tea, but good flavour, aroma, colour and strength. Lacks a bit of body, but for the price a very welcome everyday drinker.Would buy again.
