SwitchBot Smart Keypad Touch for SwitchBot Lock, Fingerprint Keyless Home Entry, IP65 Waterproof, Supports Virtual Passwords for Home Security(Only Works for SwicthBot)

I have a whole ecosystem of retrofitted Switchbot products and this door lock together with the touch keypad is one of the best things that they could have come up with. It doesn't require any screws or drilling and works right out of the box - they even provide the batteries. The lock activates with the pin, fingerprints, NFC card and the NFC tag, and I love the different ways I can unlock my door. While the respond speed between the touchpad and the lock isn't instantaneous (about 2 seconds for it to unlock), it works great and I haven't gotten a hiccup thus far. One thing I will say is that their support team has been amazing with questions I have about the product

My family is extremely happy with the SMART Keypad Touch Lock.. Very easy to install and works extremely well. Came with 1 card, which was unexpected. Bonus points.

The best option to solve the patio issue, reliable, good quality and inexpensive! It does have strong torque can turn even the toughest lock like mine with our spending thoughts of dollar replacing the lock or door!

Switchbot did replace my keypad now, so I’ve raised my review rating. (I expected SwitchBot to replace my previous keypad when it failed after 6 months, but so far they haven’t. It worked well for 6 months. )

The lock works great, but the keypad has fried itself to death 3 times. Works great at first.. then dies unexpectedly.. only thing out of the ordinary is that I have it a static shock at some point. I would buy it again if the fix the issue

--- UPDATE 22 July 2025 --- Okay, I've had this for about 10 months now. I want to love it, but I can't. When it works; it is very convenient for my family, it comes with so many issues. I suppose for different locks it may work better than others, but I have not found anything positive with this. I've installed, reinstalled, realigned, and it still fails. I'd say 8 out of 10 times I use it I have found myself needing to recalibrate the mechanism. Constant jamming even though the unit is direct center of the lock knob. Again, "when it works" it's great. But I'm close to ripping this off my door and running it over at this point in frustration. --- ORIGINAL REVIEW October 2024 --- The Switchbot lock is a great idea for those that either don't have the handy capabilities of installing a deadbolt lock from scratch. The capability of slipping this over your existing lock is awesome. I don't have a deadbolt for my door but have a lock different from any smart locks out there that I have to resort to this one. Comes with double sided adhesives, a mini screw driver and everything you need to install this easily. As easy as everything was to install, there is one caveat to keep in mind. Unless you're planning to sand down the areas you adhere these to, you can expect the 3M adhesive to be so good that it can rip the paint right off your door. In my case, it's no fault of the adhesive, but the paint on my door just not allowing anything to stick to it and found this peeled right off w/ the paint. I have since sanded down the area and used screws to install the Switchbot itself. The only reason I'm knocking down 1 star is that this thing is bulky. There's gotta be a way to trim this thing down a little. (I am also reviewing the fingerprint keypad as well since it won't let me review them separately.) Pairing this up with a Switchbot lock is very simple and quick. Within the app, you simply follow the easy instructions and it's done. Adding fingerprints or codes to memory is a breeze. NFC reader built in and also includes a card to start you off with. Installation was simple too! One thing to note, (no fault of the product or 3M for that matter) if your applying this using the 3M adhesive, keep in mind the surface you adhere it to is subject to have the paint peel off because of how good the 3M adhesive is. I suggest, you install using the included screws instead.

Conste que yo lo compré en oferta y que este producto requiere la cerradura. Para mi este teclado facilita el poder entrar en casa sin necesitar el móvil o llaves, yo suelo utilizar la huella ya que nadie puede emularla fácilmente pero se pueden crear códigos numéricos. El tiempo que se tarda en comunicar con la cerradura es casi nulo y al ser tan pequeño se disimula bien. Para uso personal es muy bueno y útil para no tener que instalar una app en el móvil de tu familia solo para abrir la puerta

Acquistato in accoppiata con SwitchBot Lock Pro! Dopo tanta attesa il nuovo SwitchBot Lock Pro è finalmente uscito, e non potevo non acquistarlo visto i miglioramenti in termini estetici e funzionali rispetto alla prima versione, molto acerba in confronto ai vari competitor. Dopo diversi giorni di utilizzo posso finalmente tirare le somme, ed in una sola parola.. FANTASTICI! Partiamo dalla confezione: come sempre minimale, con tutto il necessario, e con un nuovo look che lo rende decisamente perfetto anche per un regalo. Anche le istruzioni, come sempre, chiare, facili ed intuitive. Passiamo al prodotto: SwitchBot Smart Lock è una serratura Smart (ovviamente) che ti permette di gestire nei modi più svariati l'apertura e la chiusura delle porte di casa, sia blindate che interne. Il montaggio è semplicissimo: la base dello smart lock si fissa mediante adesivo 3M (fornito) alla serratura esistente, si inserisce la chiave della serratura, e vi si aggancia sopra lo smart lock e... Fatto! Ora siete pronti ad aprire e chiudere le porte di casa con un semplice comando vocale o con lo smartphone. La serratura infatti è comandabile dall'applicazione, ma è anche integrabile con Alexa e Google Assistant, così da renderne ancora più comoda e semplice l'attivazione. Attenzione: la Smart Lock non si adatta a TUTTE le serrature, ma solo ad alcune tipologie. In compenso, nel kit in dotazione si trovano due staffe di montaggio differenti (in base allo spessore del cilindro) e otto adattatori per nottolini. Vi consiglio di verificare la compatibilità prima di procedere all'acquisto, anche direttamente dal sito SwitchBot. Ad integrazione c'è la possibilità di acquistare il Keypad Touch (CONSIGLIATISSIMO!), un tastierino che va posto al di fuori della porta su cui avete installato Smart Lock, e che permette lo sblocco della porta in vari modi, per esempio con impronta digitale, codice di sicurezza (anche temporaneo per ospiti ad esempio), o ancora con una card magnetica (stile hotel, già presente in confezione). Fino ad ora ho testato l'impronta digitale ed il codice e non ho mai avuto nessun problema, sicuramente seguiranno aggiornamenti. Come altri prodotti SwitchBot, per rendere totalmente Smart il prodotto, e quindi avere la possibilità di utilizzarlo attraverso scenari, comandi vocali gli assistenti vocali etc, è necessario acquistare SwitchBot Hub, che gli amanti di questi prodotti sicuramente avranno! :) Per il resto direi che è un ottimo prodotto, semplice e intuitivo, sia nell'utilizzo che nel montaggio, e molto bello esteticamente (anche se un po' grande), per non parlare del rapporto qualità/prezzo: IMBATTIBILE! Straconsigliato!
