ZYXEL WiFi 6 AX1800 VDSL2 5-Port Super Vectoring Gateway (Upto 35B) and USB with Easy Mesh Support

i brought this to replace my rubbish plusnet router. it was fairly easy to set up. i just needed to change the q1 to 101 and log in with my plusnet credentials. now i get good signal all through the house so it was money well spent.

Couldn't get this unit to connect to my ISP via its VDSL modem or Full Fibre WAN, even by manually entering the settings.Damn shame as the WiFi signal was very impressive & fast too.Thankfully a no-fuss return and refunded very quickly.Probably just a bad unit though, as I've never had a problem with Zyxel kit before.

For vdsl on bt and plusnet you may need to skip the setup so you can go into the settings and add vlan 101 under 802.1q.WiFi is strong and fast, fast vdsl as good as other modems I've tried if not a little bit better. Stable internet, the config file backup is editable if you can keep the same format making it easy to bulk change stuff. Advanced setting on this, there is also an app which shows connected devices etc. The access points wx3000 you just plug in to network via cable and auto configure these with main WiFi, you can enable guest or others on its web interface. Best mesh I have found for setup just plugin and done. Have up to 4 SSIDs WiFi. Load of features.Two downsides firmware is manual to update and the connected devices and bit of the web interface are a bit slow. App is also a bit slow.

All the modern features you need WPA 3, WIFI 6 and it works perfectly on PLUSNET.It can also transfer data between devices at distance at around 300mbps (30mb) over WIFI which is impressive.Just make sure you enter the details correctly by checking your provider guidance page as you need to manually enter this into the VDSL setting, the wizard didn’t work for me.

This is actually a cracking modem and wifi router, but only once you get it setup. It took us the best part of two days. We’re still not entirely sure what we did to get it to work after all. It suddenly worked at 02:30 in the morning when the will to live had almost faded entirely. Only get this if you know what you’re doing.

Appareil complexe à prendre en main, la notice n'est pas forcément la plus loquace et il faudra faire preuve de patience.Sans quelques connaissances dans la gestion de réseaux, vous devrez d'abord passer par des tutos en ligne (comme nous 😅)Il m'est difficile de juger de son efficacité puisque je ne l'ai pas encore installé, seulement testé brièvement.Lorsqu'il est en route une page s'ouvre sur notre navigateur internet pour gérer les paramètres…Le prix est dans la moyenne de ce qui se fait pour ce genre de produit, à voir une fois bien en place ce que ça donne dans le temps.

the product arrived two days before schedule delivery date. its a good quality product that ticks all the boxes for my providers requirements 35b profile. Im using the device in bridge mode. meets all expectations and even thou i'm not using the wifi on it is gives better preformnce them my ubuiquit LR AP.Highly Recommend the product
