These Changed How I Ski Forever
There are certain pieces of equipment that change the way you experience a sport, and Apex ski boots have done that for me with skiing. Like a perfectly fit baseball glove or my go-to golf club, these really have changed how I'll ski forever.I heard about Apex boots years ago, but hadn't had the opportunity to purchase a pair until this year. Ive skiied my whole life (since age 3) and I can ski anything on the mountain (icy groomers, deep powder, backcountry trees, & even a little park).I've never been entirely 'uncomfortable' in regular boots (at least compared to others), but that's mostly because I would size up and didn't buckle down too tight. But as I get older, this "loosey-goosey" method was leaving my legs tired at the end of the day. So after reading tons of reviews and lots of research I bought the Anteros (size 26).It was a little intimidating buying boots online, but I thought that if I could try it, it could be with an Apex boot as they seemed more straightforward to fit (following the image guidelines). Upon unboxing, I was impressed. Easy to understand fit guide, nice packaging, etc.As I tried them on in my living room, my expectations immediately soared because they were everything they claimed to be an more. Warm. Comfortable. Easy to adjust. *Really Comfortable*.Too excited to wait long, I headed up the next weekend to give them the real test on the mountain. I'm not in "ski shape" and my first day of the year is always the most uncomfortable so I didn't plan on skiing long. But when I put my new boots in the parking lot and started towards the lift, I knew it would be different. I'm still in disbelief how much of a difference a comfortable walk from the car to the lift makes in a ski day. GAME. CHANGER.I popped into my skis (ON3P Kartel 108s) and started doing laps but I was so comfortable, it was odd. No pinching, no stomping to settle my heel, nothing. It was like I was forgetting to do something.I went hard all day (13 long runs). I never once doubted my boots, and I pushed them hard. It was almost a challenge that I wanted to lose. And I wasn't disappointed, because these Apex boots surpassed any of my wildest dreams, even before I was able to easily stroll back to my car at the end of the day. There's never been a piece of gear that has had this impact on my ski day. They're a better investment than my season pass, skis, helmet, jacket, or goggles, probably combined. I'd never considered wearing anything else skiing again.

Poor Quality, Soft plastic materials!
I do not write reviews, period, but this was too much for the price they charge of $899. After two days of skiing at Devils Head (WI) the bottom of the booths look like they been used for over 5 years. The front rubber on one of them is coming off and the heel plastic is worn down significantly from a few walks! I am stuck now with no option for return per the return policy.

Best thing to happen to the ski boot. ++service
We decided to purchase ski gear after our 2nd trip in as many years. We hated walking around in stiff blister forming boots. We notice hiw comfortable snow boarders were. I came across ICON. The only downside is that these tend to run small for size.We were eager to get on the slopes. What seemed to fit at home didn't on the slope. I had to wear boots loose to keep feet from going numb. So i called ICONThey are located just out the pass.when headed down. They told meto bring them buy. So, i did and i wore my ski socks. They were FABULOUS. They heated up the foam inside the boots and then placed arch supporting inside. Next the heat molded the bootYOU HAVE TO TRY THIS

Love these boots
Yes they're expensive, but if it gets you skiing more (which it will) it's completely worth it. Very comfortable boots that are even slimmer/easier to walk around in & adjust than snowboard boots. I was hitting the terrain park my first run in these to break them in, it takes very little time to adjust. The only real difference you'll feel is that your stance on the bindings is a bit elevated from traditional boots. Carving, jumps, glades etc have all felt good though so this won't inhibit your performance at all from my experience. Glad I made the purchase and would recommend - the folks at the ski shop were jealous when they saw them haha :)

Worth a shot if you have foot issues (and cash to burn)
Can’t go full 5 on these. Skied them for two weeks in Europe after needing cortisone injections for arthritis in my toe joint and collapsed arches (or something similar, still trying to figure out what happened). Anyway, I was on a knee scooter until two weeks before my vacation and took a shot on these. I feel performance suffers a bit in these boots if you ski hard. They are way more comfortable than regular boots which I needed due to foot problems and I’ll keep them as my primary boot until I get professionally sized boots and try them out. I feel they don’t go high enough on the shin (I’m 6’2) and don’t lock down hard enough. My sister loved them and maybe if I get them fitted better I’ll change my mind but for the price, I think you can do better at half the cost if you go to a ski shop. Full orthopedics didn’t fit well but half orthos did.

More comfortable than advertised!
I have been skiing for nearly 40 years. For the past 15 years I had simply endured pain, numbness, and cold toes. I took these boots out out on their first runs last weekend. Amazing comfort. No Pain - warm toes - skied two days - all day.Cons: I spent less time in the lodge warming up so my legs got tired!

Fantastic boot
Great boot! Only it seems like this one was a size too big so I couldn’t get it in time! I wish someday to try the size smaller. Looks great and though big was extremely comfortable looking!

Not for wide feet!
Not made for wide feet! Buyer beware. Also, if you wear them outside, Apex won't take them back.
