Q: What size hopper ball would fit a 3 year old ?

I ordered the 27" hopper for my 10 & 11 year-old granddaughters, and the size was just right. I would guess that the next size smaller would work for a 3-year old.

Q: What is the weight limit?

I don’t know if there is a weight limit. I ordered for ages 3 to 15 and the inflated balls held up with them trying each size. You may need to judge so you don’t over inflate. I had one where they pumped it to as large as they could and it busted as they jumped on top of a bunch of Christmas tree needles. It let out a bang like a balloon and had 3-6” slice/cut in ball which we felt was too large to repair.

Q: Does the handle also fill with air, or is the handle made from a more dense piece of material?

The handle is made of the same rubber like material of the bouncer ball. It is hollow inside to provide comfort and flexibility as you grip it. I bought several of these as presents for ages 3-15 years of age and they all loved them.
