The instruction's are pictorial, not very intuitive and difficult to follow. The cover is very tight and difficult to remove without potential breakage. Removing the switch from the press button is again rather difficult, but refitting is even worse as the press button revolves in its fitting. After struggling, but succeeding, to fit the unit, it works perfectly.

Worked fine, however it is very fiddly to fit and the instructions aren’t great. When taking apart be careful not to drop the tiny bulb like I did. It is so small it took me a good 10 minutes searching around by the front door for it. Got the bulb connected and lighting up but then when I fitted the cover it must’ve moved and wouldn’t light up. Decided not to take it apart again as it was too fiddly. Bell still works without it, so wasn’t too bothered.

Pretty solid replacement for a defunct doorbell. Was able to use the existing wire and just swap out the button. Really like how it's backlit so people can find it in the dark.

Complete and utter waste of time and effort - you definitely get what you pay for and this is purely cheap rubbish - could not even open the thing up to start with - and when you did bits of plastic fell off then never went back again. Bulb fell out, plastic snapped and springs pinged - if you value your Sunday afternoon, then this is not a "5 minute job" - it will turn into an hour plus of irritation - we have taken our old white bell, that is more than 30 years old and just painted it black - should have done that in the first place and saved the planet rather than buying this cheap plastic rubbish

Bought to replace one which was wired into the mains, anyone touched it got a shock. Plenty of bodies piled up at the front door but no one complained so replaced it for this one. Joking aside It fitted well has a nice back light and is smart. Works a treat if you have existing wires. No need for a subscription, no cloud support, no data sharing across the globe doesn't have any smart features, just goes ding dong as a doorbell should.

Bulb missing & no screws supplied but refunded promptly.

The ring works but the light in both items lasted only a couple of months. quite disappointing since I purchased it especially for this feature... :(
