Big Boy Plastic Flexi Filler

Arrived promptly. Used to repair a large hole ripped in the front bumper (see photos). Applied using mesh and built up in layers. Cured in about an hour with warm air from fan heater. Sanded easily into shape using sanding block with a variety of paper grades starting coarse to get the correct form, and then a light grade before applying two coats of primer and the top coat (still needs a t-cut and lacquer but I am very pleased with the result).

Purchased June 2024 - 250ml £9.33 [Note: At time of writing webpage states both 250 & 280ml - 250ml was received - don't know if this "shrinkflation" or just a typo] We used this in very hot [for UK!] conditions and found it bonds extremely well even to painted surfaces, some applications required two-coats to fill in air-bubbles [probably user error]. Easy to sand and paint. Not much else to say - definitely use in a well-ventilated area Downside - could do with a better way of measuring the ratio of hardener to filler, it was a bit of "hope this is right". We did find it "going-off" quite quickly, although this might have been down to the temperature +24 deg. C. Recommended

This filler is great, spent ages looking around the net for just the right thing as I want this repair to last especially with the cost of the paint etc. Repaired my front bumper which had a large crack across the top and a hole punched below it I'm guessing from a reversing towbar. Used the big boy fibreglass kit from here to shore up the inside then just sanded the outer face for a good key with the filler and dremelled a groove along the crack just to give a little more area to grip on to. Just go through in your head what you're going to do so that you're sure everything is prepared before mixing as my first little bit hardened just as I was about to put a last little bit over the crack area where it had sunk in to the gap. It set in 4-5 mins or so but I was faffing around in the beginning so I had to mix another little bit to finish the crack and also fill the hole. Excellent stuff though sands down beautifully.

Easy to apply, even with my lack of practical skill. A good finish is easily achievable

The contents are only about half of the tin - very deceptive. I ordered one tin and then had to buy another tin, for the job I needed to do The product itself is very good, but needing to pay twice was disappointing

Our composite front door has started showing cracks in certain panels, so not being in a position to replace it, thought I'd try and repair it After much research, settled on this and very glad I did !! Once you've got the mix / combination right it's perfect, as goes off very quick once applied. Has filled all the cracks and despite it being almost silicone like once set, it sands down easily and is paintable. Door looks great now with no unsightly holes or cracks HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Livraison avec Prime. Facile d'utilisation, durcissement rapide. Attention, procéder par petites quantité de mastic et ne pas mettre trop de durcisseur dans le mélange pour avoir le temps de travailler. Se ponce aisément.

J'ai reçu le paquet endommagé, le fournisseur fut très compréhensif et a vite répondu en trouvant solution. Pour le produit il est relativement facile d'application, convient au pare-choc et baguette de protection, une fois sec se ponce facilement. Au final le résultat est très bon.
