I’ve have these for a year now and they work so well, they’re comfortable, work the way I need them too and the 220 works nicely even when wet.

I bought the 120 grit ones and found that they were more aggressive than the ones I had been buying at the big box store. They are a bit too aggressive for my current project.

I am impressed with these but my use for them is unique.I am a music lover, a guy who enjoys listening to music mostly on a desktop audio system through various headphones. Recently I purchased a new desktop system and wanted to attach to my various components some wood side panels in order to give them a bit of a throwback, old school look. I purchased these sanding sponges in order to give my milled Oak pieces the perfect finish to accept a Cherry colored stain. My project is not complete but I am very happy with the results so far and in the end I know it's going to wind up looking superb. Of course I have also used some very fine sandpaper but these blocks were especially helpful in taming the sharp edges and eliminating the possibility of slivers after they came out of the table saw.

Ordered these to refinish an old dresser. Started sanding with the coarsest and used each one down to the finest. They worked really well. Refinish came out beautiful!

These sponges are definitely on the thinner side at maybe half an inch thick. I wish they were thicker. They do an okay job, but the 60grit block did shed a bunch of "crumbs". The 80grit also had a defect spot of it, where there's a bigger glob of grit on one of the edges.They work okay, but I don't expect them to last forever like some of my 3M blocks I've had for years and many projects.

These are very handy to have around for anything you need to sand. One of the many things they’re great for is sanding the edges of the outsoles on your boots and shoes where they get chewed up and dinged. Simply use one of these to sand it clean and then touch it up with the proper color edge dressing. Recommended
