Traditional Umami Dashi Soup Base & Seasoning
I use this to make miso soup. The freshness is great, flavor is great, and value for money is almost great.Update - April, 2021┈┈┈┈┈┈I keep my eyes on this and the price is now lower than before! It’s twelve dollars. Actually it’s cheaper than Costco.

The smell is offputting at first, cannot tell the difference from chicken stock when used in ramen
I really like this stuff. Most dashi in America is made with fish, but is mostly flavored with additives. These are great ingredients and it smells a little fishy as a result. It cooks quickly and is a great base for soup or any broth.

Taste good but it needs more flavor
I have to use 2 bags for one serving and simmer it longer

So good
I have never had this till now and it is amazing. It is amazing on everything. My wife is picky and she likes it to. I got it to make Japanese mayo. I have tried on just about everything.

Too expensive for what it is
The packs are small, and the cost is high. Not worth the price tag, you can buy seasoning in larger quantities for a more reasonable price.

Good product, reliable brand, just be aware of the seller.
I cook Japanese cuisine regularly. I love this brand Kuzefuku. I was so happy when I first found that their products were available in the US on Amazon. I decided to order one as a gift for my friend who is interested in authentic Japanese cooking. Placed an order on Nov. 16, 2021. Item was delivered to me on Nov. 18, 2021. However, the “Best by” date on the product was “10/09/2021.” You might be able to say dashi packets won’t immediately go bad, but I would not give it to my dear friend. Since “This item isn’t eligible for return,” I wasted $20 and am left with 35 expired dashi soup packets. I did “Leave seller feedback” but received no reply or follow-up from either Stam Sales or Amazon.
