spins out at moderate speeds when i use it to mix C-60 in 1 liter of olive oil in a 2 liter flask. I can acheive a miniscule vortex.

I used this in conjunction with "801 Powerful Magnetic Lab Stirrer / Stir Plate, Speed Range: 0-2300 rpm, Max Stirring Capacity: 3000ml" & "Bormioli Rocco Fido Round Clear Jar, 169-Ounce, 5 Liter". This thing is AMAZING! in its ability to stir volumes of liquids well beyond the rated capacity of its stirrer. I've tried MANY stirrers and this one ROCKS!

Simply put...it does exactly what it's supose to do.

Better whirlpool at a slower speed!

Works wonders in making a yeast starter.
