I adore it. While I'm still getting used to not having numbers on the side, the compact size allows it to slide under the small shelf in my desk when I write. It's great. I did have to call Artic so someone could explain how to get the backlight off, as I was not into that. Staff there was very helpful. Review: Good Little (noisy) Keyboard - Have not had it long, and got one of the medium ones. Even for a medium it is a little smaller than a Standard keyboard, but is definately bigger than some keyboards I have worked on. And I love it! I am use to dealing with Fn keys and hot keys from working on a laptop keyboard, and this Keyboard is perfect for me. The Keys are smooth. The back-lighting can be adjusted The keys are replaceable ---- which is good since I wear out keys rather quickly. The cable it comes with is a decent length. It is a bit noisy, but that it is part of the appeal of this keyboard. If you are a heavy handed typer, this keyboard is going to Clunk more than Click, but as long you are not pounding on it, it makes an awesome clicking noise that really does remind you of typing on a typewriter! Love it! Like I said, I have not had it long, but so far, so good!

looks and feels like a toy
Maybe my hands are too large for this tiny keyboard (which I didnt realize was so small), but its not very comfortable for typing for me. I was going for a retro feel - it didnt meet my expectation. Looks like a toy and feels like one when u type on it.. I did not like it.

I like how it feels and the mechanical click of each key. This keyboard is not a gaming keyboard i noticed some delay when multi keystrokes are used. for what i got this keyboard for (Retropie gaming it is a very good match up.

LOVE
I basically bought this for the clicking noise. I love the sound and the way the keys feel. The back light it cool also. I'm using it with a 2012 Macbook Pro. It synced fairly easily. The only thing is that the function keys are more geared toward computers using Windows. Not a big deal for me because I don't really use them anyway. Not a gamer, so... Overall, I love it and am glad I bought it.

"Back-lit" is not what I would call this keyboard.
Normal looking keyboard that lights up in various colors. very pretty, but not at all helpful. Why do you buy a "back-lighted" keyboard? It's so that in a dark lit room, the keys will emit enough light to make the nomenclature on them -- letters and numbers -- easy to see. In my mind, that means the keys themselves are lit from behind so the individual letters/numbers/symbols on their face, light up. Simple. While this keyboard does have light emitting from the area of the keys, it is light that illuminates the area AROUND the keys, not the letter/numbers/symbols themselves. So you DON'T see the "Q" lit up or the "W" lit up, etc., just the area between the keys is lighted. What this effectively does, is make the key nomenclature even HARDER to see in the dark because the area around the keys is brighter than the face of the key which is only being lit from whatever dim light is in the room, which at the outset we know is DIM. So with this keyboard, you STILL need external light on in the room to see the keyboard to be able to type, unless you are a professional typist who can type blind. But they, those lucky folk who are talented to be able to type complete darkness have no need for a lighted keyboard! So no, not only didn't this product fulfill my expectation of what LIGHTED keyboard means, the truth is, that if you look at the images of the product, I think they indeed tried to make the keyboard look, if not ambiguous, then down right deceptive, because from the pictures, you could easily assume the key nomenclature is internally back-lit, especially if that is what you think "back-lit" means. The description should clearly state that the letter and numbers on the face of the keys DO NOT light up...hence, they are not "back-lit." I went to return this item and because of what it cost, but the vendor said the shipping costs was close enuf to the cost of the product that it wasn't even worth returning it. Yah, no free return shipping from this vendor. So be aware.

Vintage child at heart
This is a solid keyboard. I did think it was wireless/Bluetooth but it’s not and nor is it a deal breaker for me. I love the sound it makes when you type and the lights go glow!

I meant to mount this in a "steampunk" wooden base, with its round metal-rimmed keys and neat compact design it looked like it would fit in nicely. Easier than adapting parts from a real vintage typewriter I thought. Turns out the "metal base" is actually plastic, with a thin sheet of metal glued on top. I liked the look of the thin flat base in the photos, but it is only thin on the edges, it bulges out underneath, a bit like the iMac they show it being used with has thin edges and bulges on the back. On my desk, which has side-by-side drawers under the desktop, the desk height is already a bit high, so the extra height makes it a little uncomfortable to type on - can't raise my seat or my legs don't fit under the drawers. With no drawers, or a stack of drawers on one side, this would not be an issue. It does work with a Mac, by the way, though the layout is Windows - an alternative Mac layout would be nice. As noted by others the blue "backlight" does not illuminate the letters on the keys, it silhouettes them. In fact it is so dazzling where it bounces off the chrome rims, it makes it impossible to read them at all. But it can be turned off, so that's ok. However the chrome rims on the keys are so shiny, they also reflect the ceiling light so even that makes it hard to see the letters. They are not real metal rims, but chrome plating on the plastic keys, so can't really be steel-wooled back to dull the shine - probably a matte varnish coating is the only option. The action on the keys is fairly long, just like the1923 typewriter I used to use, but the feel is plasticky so not quite the same. The loud clacking sound is a retro feature too, part of the charm. But I share my office, and with my partner frequently on Zoom meetings, it is too noisy and distracting, everyone in the meeting can hear it. I was warned in the description so that's my mistake. One of the better looking vintage style keyboards, and not hundreds of dollars like some, but an unwise choice in my particular situation.
