This is NOT a v3.6a
Although it does appear to be a genuine Bus Pirate, the one I received is not a 3.6a, but actually is showing as a 3b. Not a huge difference, but is a bit older and not what was advertised, although it still seems to work. I will update my review if something changes

All in one data monitoring
This is my go-to device for monitoring data comms. Driver install went well. Wish it came with additional jumpers but overall very nice.

Nettes Tool, für den der es brauchen kann.Zum Anwenden braucht man nur ein "schlaues" Terminal-Programm wie Teraterm oder Realterm.(Realterm mit Adminrechten beim erstenmal nach der Installation starten.)Es erspart einem mühsames Programmieren von Testprogrammen für serielle Protokolle.Abzug gibt es für den altmodischen Mikro-USB-Stecker.

Bus Pirate Works Great Easy to Use
If you are serious about IoT hacking or embedded development or just want to learn how to code in Hex and want to talk to devices using the SPI or I2c protocol this is a great learning tool. Don't be without it.

There is an updated version of this product. And this one is packed with features that this unit can only dream about. Go for the newer version.
