I brought one of these with me for a month long international trip. It held up great, allowing me to sketch little pictures and thoughts in a bunch of other countries. The binding and cover are super durable, protecting the pages within. If this thing was going to fall apart, it would have on my travels.The paper iteself is ideal sketch book paper. Thick enough so it's not going to tear or warp under pencil sketching and erasing, but thin enough that it's not cumbersome. I get slight bleed through when using sharpies on it, but that's what sketchbooks are like, and if you want something to hold up to watercolor or sharpies, you're barking up the wrong tree.For being a sketchbook, it's great quality for value.

Great for drawing. my kids loved these and they were the prefect size to use for drawing. THe paper was thick and didnt cause any bleed through. the black color was great and the value was perfect.

Great product. Cover is hard paper. Just as described. I crafted on it- vinyl stayed.

3- 100 page travel sketchbooks for $8. These are decent travel sketchbooks. The good first. Cheap at less than $3 per notebook. The paper is 100 lb and smooth. I like this for markers and drawing. Less than .5 inch thick for the traveler.As these are budget books they are some shortcomings. The covers front and back are thin. Really thin and made of cardboard. They will bend. This does make them thinner and lighter though. Pages are not perforated for easy removal like some of my other sketchbooks. The 100 lb paper just like any other will have a slight bleedthrough with alcohol markers. Nothing a small card board can fix. This is for pretty much any 100lb paper.Would I buy again: YES. I own alot of sketchbooks. This a good size to travel when i want to draw and sketch. If you are looking for a more sturdy I would go with the Simply Sketchbooks for a much more premium price.

I would definitely not recommend getting these if u intend on creating masterpieces in here. The pages are very smooth and quite thin, so i would say these are the kind of sketchbooks u buy just for some quick practice sketches.

These a great quality and value. I bought them for a class of students and they were very pleased with the paper thickness and ease of use. The paper is thick enough for pastels, charcoal and paint.
