I ordered this case as well as Spigen's so I'd be able to compare the two side by side. I'm really impressed with the build quality of this one, and was very disappointed with the poor in-hand quality of the Spigen. This case feels sturdy in hand, and I like the middle placement of the kickstand. The grip texture on the handles offers good purchase without being too aggressive or slippery. The overall anesthetics are, in my opinion, good without going too far into GAMERZ territory. I think the inclusion of the see through backside is neat. Overall a great value for your money, and it fits inside the official steam case, which is a major plus. As far as I can tell the case doesn't mash the thumbsticks, but YMMV

Really good case for the Steam Deck. I love the color, and it offers good protection for the case. Kickstand comes in really handy and lessens strain on your wrists when you place it down. Doesn't really add to the size in a huge amount, so not bulky. A little tricky to install the case, not by much though.

I love this case, and I think it's a quality product. Ive been using mine over a year. But it has one big flaw: the hand grip area where you will hold the deck is very blocky with 2 hard corners added. This makes it even less comfortable in the palm of your hands, which is unfortunate with a handheld console. Everything else about it is great. I love the look, the clear back is nice for either seeing the logo or seeing a skin. The fit is perfect and not too hard to get on or off. It's not too bulky, but it feels like it does add a decent bumper and a slightly grippy texture. And the kickstand is great, it's not flimsy and it's very usable. Fit notes: The deck DOES still fit easily in the official valve steam deck case with this on. It does NOT fit well in the JSAUX steam deck dock with this on - but it is workable. You have to place it just right, and it won't technically be all the way down in the rest, but it will hold itself up. I have the mauve color and I would say it's slightly darker and slightly more neutral leaning than in the picture, but I really like the look of it and it's probably the only steam deck case of quality in this color.

I always find myself needing a stand for my steam deck. This is a great option. It feels great in the hand and the kick stand seems robust enough.

I LOVE this case. I, first, bought it in black for my black steam deck oled. My partner just bought me the white steam deck oled, and the grey version is a PERFECT match for it. This case is not cheap at all. It’s very sleek, high-quality, and perfectly molded to fit the device. It has a sturdy kickstand. And… The steam deck WILL fit in the carrying case with this on it! The only downside is docking it. You cant dock it with the case on, but I don’t usually put it up on my tv. So, to me, it’s not a big deal. I guess the only other thing, which should be obvious, is that this case may make the steam deck a little “bulkier.” The steam deck is already a big device, so any protective case worth getting is going to make the form factor larger. Overall, this is the ONLY case worth buying.

This case is very easy to put on and off. I did see another review talking about how it is more rectangular at the grips, and I agree. The edge is definitely more flat than curved so it does jab a little bit in your palm. But it is not painful or uncomfortable, just different. And while it does technically fit in the valve steam deck case, it is a little tight. But not tight enough to do damage to the joysticks (I cannot press down from the top of the case when closed to activate the joystick button). Overall great case. I will say that I was not a fan of the packaging, it was a plastic sleeve similar to the plastic for a pencil box. I wish it was just a box and not more plastic waste.

Of all the cases I have tried, this one fits my XXL hands the best. The angular shape feels more natural to wrap around than the others*. The material isn't very textured, but does not feel slick to hold. I like that the shoulders are completely cut away, as it gives better access to the bumpers. That said, if you are prone to drops, the top corners are not protected. Overall, the main thing for me is the feel while playing, and this one is king of the hill (in my opinion). *Other cases I am comparing against are the Jsaux Modcase and Satisfye Stylthgrip.

Yes my TV stand was dirty, ignore that. I had found a skin that I loved for my Steam Deck and wanted a good silicone protection to the back because everytime I set it down on a hard surface I felt it was too jarring. However, I wanted to continue to see my decal. This protector I'd PERFECT. It fits very well, nice and snug, the clear backing allows me to see my skin and the stand has been wonderfully handy. I am scared I may accidentally snap it eventually though. My deck has played Warframe no issues, no over heating. The buttons do need to be pressed a little more firmly for volume but I hardly use that anyway. Love ut!
