This is my first attempt with Regia Pairfect, and It won't be my last.I had been avoiding knitting any cuff-down socks because I hate Kitchener stitch so much. However, I am glad that I bit the bullet with this. I love that the socks match perfectly. I love that I know exactly when to end the cuff, when to start the heel.Just a note, this yarn is very sticky; it just loves itself. As a consequence, there are times when there is unavoidable yarn barf (if you are using the center pull method) as the yarn catches on itself deep inside the skein, tightens up, and won't let go. Yarn barf doesn't bother me at all, nor do tangles. About midway through the second sock, the looseness of the skein at that point caused it to do this with a fair bit of regularity, so I decided to rewind the ball from the outside to eliminate the issue. There comes a time in most center-pull skeins when the skein becomes too loose and floppy and I decide to rewind for the remainder of the project; with this, it needed it a bit sooner than I would ordinarily have rewound, but it really wasn't any bother.

Die Wolle ist super angenehm, gleichmäßig gewebt und toll zu verstricken! Ausgewählt hatte ich sie ursprünglich, weil sie als "100%ig knotenfrei angeboten wird. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, dass dieses Qualitätsmerkmal leider nicht erfüllt wurde. Die häufigen Fragen, wie zwei farbig gleich gestrickten Socken zustandekommen, kann jeder auf der Innenseite der Banderole lesen: Sobald im Wollverlauf die gelbe Anfangsfarbe erscheint, muss die neue Socke begonnen werden, wobei der gelbe Faden nur Markierungsfaden ist, und nicht vertrickt werden darf.
