Aveda Pramasana Exfoliating Scalp Brush 1 pcs

I use it with castor oil to save my hands from getting oily for massaging my scalp. The strength is comfortable. It can apply the oil evenly and is easy to clean afterwards. I thought the hole in the lower bottom of the brush was defect so I had Amazon to send me a replacement. Turned out the hole just comes with the brush every time so I guess it’s normal.

I questioned whether this brush would "exfoliate" any better than any other brush, but it's design actually does do something different than a regular brush. Because the bristles are loops, it has a larger surface area to exfoliate the scalp when it is rubbed against the scalp, plus because of the closed loops, it doesn't tangle your hair when brushing back and forth the way an ordinary brush with straight, non-looped bristles would do. It's very lightweight and worth it if you're looking for a good scalp exfoliator brush. It was the only one like it that I could find.

I can use it on my wet hair and not get tangles

I like the brush. It feels good on your scalp and seems to work well. I'm annoyed it came with out the aveda packaging and one of the bristles was missing. Otherwise I do like it and think it will help my scalp.

Received this item and thought it was kind of hilarious as it is nothing more than the same type of bristles that are on a inexpensive wig brush brush (I use for cosplay). Waste of money.

Good for gentle scalp massage with essential oils. You have to know how to use it.

I didn't experience any improvement after using this. It also tangled up my ( long) hair. And for the price I would have expected better quality.

Wanted to give as gifts but the brushes were sent without their AVEDA Packaging - are they fake?

I like it and it feels good to brush with it. Not sure about other people because people have different opinions. It's been serving well so far.

It seems to make my scalp produce a lot more oil, but at the same time it does seem to exfoliate. So I’m glad I bought it.

平成30年（2018年）11月11日の朝日新聞で生活品評論家の東海左由留さんが本品を激賞する記事を読み、すぐに購入した。一か月程度使用して、満足と不満足がそれぞれ蓄積できたらレビューに書こうと思って毎日使用してきたが、特に欠点もなく、大いに満足している。 一般的なブラシと異なり毛はループ状。本品は黒一色で統一されているので、乾いた頭皮をブラッシングすると汚れがループの内輪に付着して白いリングがたくさん出来上がったように見える（最初の写真）。ループ毛になっているため、頭皮と接する面積、髪と接する面積の双方が棒状毛のブラシよりもはるかに大きいはずである。故に頭皮汚れの落ちがいい。なお、ループ毛は柔らかいので普通の力で使えば頭皮を痛めてしまう心配はない。 再生プラスチック製品なので水で丸洗いできる。自分は毎晩の入浴時に携行し、指やタオルでじゃぶじゃぶと洗ってループ毛に付着した汚れを落としている（次の写真）。手に取った感触が華奢なので、毎日洗う中でブラシ毛が抜け落ちたりしないか最初は心配だったが、全くの杞憂だった。 本品の難を挙げれば水キレの悪さ。丸洗いの後、振って水を落としてもブラシ本体の中に水は残る。タオルを敷いて伏せた状態で一晩おいても、素材の性質からなのか翌朝まだブラシ毛が植わっている面が濡れている。その状態で使っても効果はあるが、乾いた頭皮に使ってこその本来の威力であり、残念感は強い。 低評価のレビューもあるが、一度使いだすと汚れの「見える化」が楽しく、これに代わる品も見当たらないので、自分はリピーターになる。湯シャン派の皆様にもおすすめの一品である。
