Can replace a 2.0 Klean Kanteen Cafe Cap
I bought this cap as a backup for my Klean Kanteen insulated wide mouth bottle with external threads. (Mine came with the Cafe Cap 2.0 style). So far, it hasn’t leaked and the cap is of good quality.

Turned my old coffe bottle into leak proof container
Works great. It seems expensive for what it does and is. But, it let me repurpose my old bottle.

Fits on my old double wall clean canteen just like the original design did. No leaks.

Bad design
The cap does it's job preventing leaks. The loop snaps down tight, that's nice, but when flipped up it rattles around and is loose and sloppy. The concave on the top is a strange design choice and unattractive. I very much prefer the old loop tops.

Easy to clean, but need to screw on very tightly to avoid leakage
I had the older version of this and it was a nightmare to clean. This new version is much better! Plus less condensation with warm/hot liquid. However, I have found that I need to screw this on much more tightly to get a good seal to avoid leakage...so I don't have as good of a peace of mind as some others...

Does not leak
We find the many knock-off lids leak and this OEM lid from Klean Kanteen is sturdy and does not leak.
