Ok, so these are quite pricey compared to others available. BUT, these are the only ones that I have purchased that have done ALL I asked of them and are still in one piece. The grip is SERIOUSLY strong. It was able to 'persuade' things to move in to position that I was less able to do with hands alone. It is also really handy to be able to switch the head so that you can push things apart, or lift them off the ground like a hand held mini jack! Another big plus, that I have yet to find on other brands of this product, is that the clamp head can pivot, meaning that clamping awkward shaped items is MUCH easier. Don't hesitate, if you have come to this product page and are looking for a quality product, look no further. HOWEVER, DO consider buying the larger opening clamps, 12", 18" or even 24" if the work you are going to be doing is not going to be in a confined space. The larger ones are exactly the same quality but will cover you for a wider range of tasks. Unless you are working with restricted spaces, for which these are perfect1

Quality clamps with consistent clamping power. Worth the extra cost over cheaper versions.

These Quick-Grip 5062Qc Twin Pack Bar Clamps seem to be a bit too expensive at first glance, yet one has to consider two points: 1 It is a twin pack 2 Top notch build quality. I have bought many cheaper clamps in the past, yet all ended up in some drawer never to be used again due to numerous factors... Poor build quality, very small jaw width .... These Quick-Grip 5062Qc Twin Pack Bar Clamps are definitely keepers. They are made of durable heavy duty materials, and are extremely versatile. I have bought 2 of these, so in total I have 4, meaning that I am covered for most jobs requiring clamps. You never seem to have enough!! Do not waste your money on cheap alternatives. If you really want quality, than this is the way to go. Highly recommended.

Simple, strong and do what they are supposed to do. I looked at various brands but decided to pay a bit more for these clamps. Glad I did and expect them to last.

I had a small pair of Irwin clamps and decided to get a larger pair because they've never let me down. These are all I hoped for and more. Unusually they were larger than I expected, which seems to be at odds with most products these days. When I tighten clamps I expect them to stay tightened and unlike some other cheaper ones I've had in the past these really do. Only negative is that my smaller pair will slide up the bar without releasing them, these have to have the release trigger pulled and if you tighten down hard on your work the release trigger is hard and uncumfortable to pull. I'm still glad I bought them. For clarification, this price is for one only.

Bought these when on special, on the basis you can never have too many clamps. Easy to use one-handed. You can do them up really tight but note the release can be a little stiff if you do. 12in is a good size for most jobs and not too big if you are only clamping something small. I like them so much a bought another two.

The clamp seems decent, at least when it's sent properly. Not sure what half a clamp is called or worth. Useless QA to even get this sent out. Was in need of these for a job I had planned and now am stuck to how to complete it. Seems a shame for a product that has promise of being good. Will hold judgement on it when it's actually functional. ----UPDATE---- Well the first review may have been a bit harsh cos it probably was a genuine mistake. However they replaced this and now the clamp works as expected. However the actual clamp heads are quite big and not so versatile on every project.

It's a must have if you need a clamp, but beware that one end is on a swivel all the time. great if your work piece is not square but it can be a pain. Not sure if this is the latest clamp because I thought I was buying the clamp that has an adjustable end, in terms of it's either fixed or loose by means of pushing the clip sideways. This clamp has a permanently loose end, which all things being normal will self center. I seldom do normal and find that the jaws have to be center on to be square. If you try and nip the work because the throat isn't deep enough(never is), the clamp won't grip like you'd hoped. Confused yet? Well built, should last longer than me. I liked it and went and bought a pair of the smaller ones, which are being used more, because they are very handy and do most jobs where as the big one is for er, bigger jobs. Conclusion? yer need the 3 of them :-)

Look carefully before buying these tools. Not all also function as a spreader.

Sargentos de spriete de muy buena calidad, son resistentes de fácil manejo y de confianza. Calidad precio magnífico. Por ponerle un pero,las mordazas viene con recubrimiento de plástico y para mi gusto deberían de ser de almohadilla o goma para evitar marcas al apretar fuerte. Por otro lado tamaño de 30 cm es lo que yo estaba buscando para mis trabajos, mordazas reversibles con un click para abrir .Y el cierre o apertura con una mano lo haces. Le doy un 5 por que para mi trabajo son perfectos.

Cercavo un morsetto che mi aiutasse a smontare e rimontare le guaine di gomma che vanno cambiate tutti gli anni senza fare troppo sforzo e sono rimasto veramente colpito positivamente da questo prodotto. Leggero ma robusto, abbastanza largo per ciò a cui mi serve, con una grande forza di serraggio. Sono molto soddisfatto.
