Awesome!
These boots are a great. I use these for my work and are really comfortable. Only thing is these boots fit exactly your size so if you want some space order a half size bigger which I will be doing next time. Other than that love these boots!

Very surprised.
The media could not be loaded. So, I bought these for work as a security guard, I was looking for something that would be lightweight and breathe better than traditional boots in hot weather. The insoles that come in the shoe are abysmal, but purpose built for swimming with fins more than walking, so I can't complain. I simply replaced them and all is well. They aren't as cool in the heat as I was hoping, but still better than traditional uniform boots. Slowly these have become more daily wear shoes as I have found that I like low profile shoes more than modern athletic shoes. And after a ten mile hike, multiple water crossings, and a direct comparison to trail runners of a different brand, I find that these are absolutely amazing. I feel like these help me better respond to rugged terrain, and I had more control of my ascent and descent in water, on rocks, and on the trail. Whereas in trail runners, I felt too insulated from the trail and felt like my ankle was rolling more than I liked. When crossing a stream, I felt like I had more control of my footing and less drag with the current. And the drainage meant that there was no sloshing water in the toe box and my socks, although wet, didn't FEEL soggy. However, this was at the cost of impact cushioning, so I think I was a little more fatigued after a few miles than of I had traditional hikers or trail runners, however it was worth it to me for better feedback on difficult terrain.

Favorite shoes
I really like these shoes. I have a normal width and arch. Wear a size 9 in Nikes and Asics. Bought a size 9 in these and they fit perfect if that helps. Insoles are a little grabby on the socks so you may have to loosen the laces a bit more than normal shoes.

🌽 Coooorn to be wiiiiiiiillld
“Corn pad was a bad dude!”Everything I wanted, minus the corn development on my pinky toe. These are awesome shoes, but the toe box is narrow; everywhere else the shoe fits well.Very well built, exactly what I was looking for in a shoe: Converse style, with tactical goodness. I just wish they weren’t narrow in the toe box. I’ve been wearing them with thicker socks and a corn pad, hoping to break them in to my foot but they are built so beef-a-liscious, they’re taking a bit of awhile to do so.The other criticism I have is the insert. It is very comfy, but rubberized, so when you slip your foot is with a sock, your foot doesn’t slide in; the sock catches on the rubber surface. This can be remedied by swapping out for another insert, but I don’t want to do that as it screws with the overall design. These do breathe well, and the sole is nice and tacky. I can walk about on wet surfaces (back on my truck, boat deck, etc.) and not feel like I’m slippin’.I wouldn’t say I have wide feet, but definitely not narrow feet. So, be forewarned on the toe box, my friends. This is an awesome shoe, just a bit narrow. I’m still gonna work on breaking them in because I love em. Because they are narrow, I can’t warrant a 5-star review.

Preliminary report, these shoes live up to the hype.
If you know about these shoes, you know Altama makes killer boots, these shoes seem to be no exception. They fit like a glove right out of the box. Took them on a short walk over mud, clay, rocks and asphalt and they gripped better than I expected. If you're looking for a shoe that has absolute grip in wet conditions this is better than most but not the top of the line, it's somewhere in the middle. Drainage seems good, the rubber insole will grip socks a lot but the shoes are also comfortable enough without socks.Final item to note will be durability, I can't comment on that yet, will check back about that when I've put some miles on them.

Good buy
Very comfortable. The insoles grab your socks and pull them a bit but other then that very comfy

Extremely comfortable and durable material. Exceeded my expectations!
I was hesitant to order these as they look uncomfortable or just expensive version of chuck taylors. Couldnt have been more wrong and i am so glad i decided to give these a try. I will never buy chucks again after these. As far as tactical/combat usage i have not put them through that, just normal every day wear.

Nice.
These are really nice. I feel like I wouldn't wear these on patrol carrying a considerable load, but these are definitely cool for stationary or light activity, like guard duty or other kinds of force protection. I don't trust these to support my ankle enough for extended operations.I usually wear a 9.5, so I bough the 9 first. They were just too small. I am now awaiting the size 10s and I hope they work out because I really really like these.
