GESUM 42" Flush Mount Ceiling Fan Light with 3 Colors, 6 Speeds, Timing, Low Profile Ceiling Fan with Remote Control 3 Blades for Bedroom Dining Room (White Wood)

This fan was purchased for our kitchen. Delivery was fast. The fan was well boxed and protected. All parts were included. Instructions were clear. It was an easy and quick install. (About 20 minutes.) It's a flush mount, low profile fan that is perfect for our ceiling which is only 8 or 9 feet. It has a clean, modern look. It is super quiet even at the fastest speed and does not wobble in the slightest. What really surprised us is the amount of air (more like "wind") it can push when turned up to high. We are considering replacing the bedroom fans with this model. They are hanging fans which generally are better for bigger rooms but judging from its performance in the kitchen, this fan should be just as good or maybe even better, while providing a cleaner look.

We installed this fan in our garage. I needed a smallish size so I didn't have to worry about it hitting the garage door opener and its ceiling plug. I really like the modern blades and sleek look of this ceiling fan. We finally had time to install it over the weekend and it's perfect for our space. It has 6 speeds and a handy remote control for easy operation. The light is bright and adjustable. It fits the space well and circulates air efficiently in our stuffy garage. We are overall very happy with the fan's ability and also its aesthetics. It will be a good addition to a smaller room and is a wonderful value! (Please ignore the banging sounds in the longer video - that was my husband trying to find the manual in the recycle bin and was not being quiet about it. It's not noise from the fan.)

The fan is quiet, powerful, stylish and has good light. I really enjoy it in the kids bedroom. The white and wood are a good color scheme. Easy to install and it is good quality.

Living in Houston, TX, I have kept a fan running in my bathroom to control moisture & humidity, & prevent mold - so far, so good. We bought this fan with a recent bathroom remodel. Really like design and low profile, and extremely quiet motor. So far, no problems after 4 months, keeping it running constantly. My only complaint is that the remote (which is the only way to control it), is very finnicky and positional, especially for the light. If I am not in the just the right spot, it doesn't work. Been a bit of a learning curve as to where I can and cannot stand in order to operate the light and fan. Other than that, very pleased. Update 8/14/24: About a month after my initial review, the light began flickering, and has got progressively worse. There was supposed to be a 1 year warrantee, but I have found it impossible to get any contact information for either the seller or the manufacturer - even working through Amazon who assured me that they would get a response! Avoid this item, support is non-existent; seller and manufacturer publish no contact information and do not seem to even have a web site, other than Amazon presence. Update 3/20/25: With Amazon customer service help, was able to contact someone. They sent me a replacement light ... but it didn't fit - the screw holes didn't align. Then they sent me some magnets to try to hold the new light in place, which they sort of did, enough to make the unit functional. NOW the remote light switch won't work to turn the light off; so I've had to disconnect that, and use only the fan component. DON'T BUY THIS POS!

Love the remote, very smart! For those who say that it doesn't work... you're wrong you are just doing it wrong. It has a 10 second timer feature. If you turn light on/off within 10 seconds, it'll change color. If you wait past 10 seconds, it'll default to the most recently used color. Great feature! The fan is extremely quiet and moves a lot of air! The only negative I have to say is that the shroud/collar part mounts really funny and if you aren't careful, the blades will hit it. I would say y'all should redesign that to hold tighter to the ceiling to pull that shroud away from the blades. Other than that (which is easily solvable if you are remotely handy) this fan is excellent, especially for the price. (dimmable would be a nice feature, although its not a negative since y'all didn't advertise it and we went with the fan regardless)

Outstanding product at the $100 price point. I was able to install it by replacing a light fixture in 25 minutes. It runs quiet and the LEDs illuminate a small room just fine. It is made of plastic and it has no built-in leveling, so it looks “cheap” (and it is inexpensive). But it is lightweight so the install is easy and it doesn’t look ugly. And lightweight plastic blades means leveling is not necessary. If you just need to move some air in the guest room or the basement or something, this will work fine.

We really like these ceiling fans we bought two last year. They’re very quiet and they have many speeds and two light colors. They work well for our 12 x 12 bedrooms.

My dining room is black and white and I had a dated “big” looking ceiling fan. My old fan was wood with several glass globes. This new fan instantly updated the room. I just love it. There is a remote control to operate the fan. It is very quiet and the light is not too bright or too dim. The price was very reasonable and well worth the money. It’s amazing how something so simple can make such a big difference. I watch a lot of home decorating shows and have seen the decorators use very similar fans in their designs. The installation was very easy, it took less than a hour. Overall I am very pleased with ceiling fan purchase.

Worked for 7 month! Fan is working but the control doesn't , without the control the Fun is nothing! No lights . I tried to contact the seller but no luck, plus now the fun is cheaper ,is a complete rip off.

Very disappointed as the lights don’t work and seems that some fuses were blown when the item reached us. I can’t reach the supplier to ask for help - ideally to replace the item or send me replacement parts for the light. Just to add that I paid nearly 1000 AED for this in October 2024 and now in Dec it’s nearly half that price / probably because it’s a defective model! Bet disappointed in this product and company as no one even assisted me.

Overall, I like this fan alot. It's easy to install, very quiet and looks fantastic! The remote control is good and the fan control it doesn't make a loud 'BEEP' when you press the remote on/off for mode buttons like some fans do. While the controller doesn't beep the relay inside the fan does make a loud click or thud that might wake some light sleepers up if this fan is installed in the bedroom. As mentioned the installation is very easy, especially if you've installed a ceiling fan before. First timers might find the assembly instructions are bit less detailed then they'd like but the installation is pretty intuitive. There are two things I don't like about this fan or features I wish it had. 1 - PLASTIC FAN BLADES: My first concern is the WHITE PLASTIC FAN Blades. Generally speaking white plastic tends to yellow overtime when exposed to sunlight UV. Some manufactures treat their plastic with a UV inhibitor to prevent yellowing. I have no way to know if these fan blades are treated or will yellow overtime or not. 2 - Non-Dimmable LED: My second concern is the LED Light is very bright and it would be great if it was dimmable. I've only found a handful of ceiling fans with dimmable LED Lights so there are not many options out there but I wish the LED Light on this ceiling fan would be dimmable. All in all I really like this fan. I paid $206 for it the first time however I picked up two more just the other day on PRIME DEAL DAYS for only $167 which was a bargain! The regular price of this ceiling fan is $230 which is my opinion is high. I would recommend purchasing it when it's on sale for $180 or less. At that price or less you can't go wrong and it's excellent value. Once you get over $200 there are many more options and some in the $250-$300 range with dimmable LED lights. So far I've purchased 3 of these fans and would highly recommend them as long as you don't need a dimmable LED Light. They look great, are very quiet with good air flow and are easy to install!

Pedí uno para probar su velocidad y la intensidad del viento que arrojan porque vivo en México en un área muy calurosa y necesito abanicos que avienten mucho aire. Bueno se instalo y me sorprende el buen flujo de aire que avienta, yo pedí los de hoja de 52 pulgadas y la verdad abanican excelentemente el area. Después ordene otros 2 y están todo el dia trabajando y has ahorita todo bien. Tiene una luz led de 3 tonos y me gusta la intensidad que tienen se ven muy bonitos y elegantes.

so far, the fan has been working really well, the only thing I would change is the cover for the light I really wish it was not plastic since most white plastic goes yellow after a while, other than that I really like the minimalistic look and how flush it is to the ceiling. The installation was fairly easy the remote is good enough although it doesn't have a dimmer switch, and even at the highest speed the motor is quite all you hear is the air noise. Overall, it's a good fan will have to wait and see how long it last.
