Great value, seem good
They are maybe slightly lighter than Big Name gloves but seem functionally identical and no less tough.

Excellent value and build
To help clarify on size, these gloves were sold as large and are marked as size 10, which seems accurate and suits me fine as a size 9 (and I think I can also get a thin glove underneath if for some reason I feel the need to chainsaw at -20). Mine came marked for 20 m/s, but maybe I got a lucky pair. They are well stitched together, nice and bright, and you can feel the protection in the left-hand glove. Nice elasticated cuffs too, and they feel comfortable on. For the money, I think you'll be very pleased with these.UPDATE: I've tried them in the wet, and of course they get soaked when humping about wet logs and leafy offcuts (of course, I could have changed gloves and kept these just for cutting). What was good, is that when they dried out, they didn't go all hard and scrunchy. These will last any hobbyist a while when looked after, but of course in heavy, more continuous use, as with gloves in all industries, you'll have to replace them once in a while -- which is often a good reason to buy at a disposable price.

Absolute necessity
How can you possibly think of using a chain saw without adequate protection? I've got the hard hat and the visor. My hands are very important to me and I want to be sure that they're safe when, as a complete and utter nincompoop when it comes to practical things, I'm using something that I'm not entirely confident with. My wife's not happy that I'm doing it, but she feels somewhat reassured that I'm using these gloves. To be honest, I'm happier too.

Seem Good To Me
These gloves are a little tight for me to squeeze my medium-sized hands into, but a perfectly fine fit once they're on and seem to be of good quality. Obviously I bought them to guard my left hand against kickback, and I have to assume that protection works because I certainly don't intend to test it.

chainsaw safety gloves
Having purchased Husqvarna gloves at more than twice the price these seem great value. The good quality soft leather and synthetic materials with sound neat stitching seem vertually identical, there may be more padding in the left one but materials evolve and the spcifications are the same. Made in the uk I am well pleased to recommend them.
