VIFAH V495T Dartmoor Outdoor Wood Bar Table

When my table arrived, it had a gouge on the top. I filed a claim, which was handled rapidly and without incident. Since I was told to "field destroy" the damaged table, I decided to assemble it first to see how it went together. The joints where the legs attach to the table top didn't align well at all, and I twisted the supplied allen wrench trying to get them tight. I never could get one of the legs flush against the table top.The replacement table arrived with the screws stripped out of one of the table top braces and some scuff marks (as did the first one), but I decided I could repair those issues myself. These tables are made in Vietnam, and the packaging seems to be insufficient for the rough handling they're subjected to.This one appeared to have been manufactured much more precisely. The pieces fit together easily, with no need to force them.My other observation is that this table seems to be designed for standing next to, rather than seated in a bar-height stool. I cut 3" off the legs of mine to get it to a height that works for our stools.

Shipping was fast and table was well packed and in good shape on arrival. The height was way too high for a 29" bar stool though, and like a previous reviewer, I had to cut 3" off of the leg heights. Now it's just the right height for sitting at. Assembly was easy, however alignment of the pre-assembled pegs was not right and it took some work to adjust them for the top and leg assembly to fit together. In the end, it all worked out and looks great. The table is reasonably light and easy to move around as needed, but it has a solid feel and I think it should hold up well if it's not abused. Very pleased with the quality, design and finish.

This was delivered at around 10:15 am and I had it put together by 10:45. It was simple and, unlike the experience of some of the reviewers, all the pieces were there and fit together perfectly. It's a great addition to our patio -- tall, slim, and attractive. We'll need to put some polyurethane on it or oil it to protect the wood because it's unfinished, and I'm concerned about how it'll weather the elements. It's a little wobbly, though that could just be our patio, so I won't deduct points for that.

Table is sturdy and stable. I would have given it five stars except it came defected. Could not screw one side of leg at the bottom. However, I glued it with a super strength glue and you can not tell. It worked out great and is perfect now.

I looked around at quite a few options before deciding to pull the trigger on this item. The same table is available elsewhere for a much higher price. The Amazon deal is a bargain. The table assembled easily, and it is a good addition to other deck furniture. I'm going to get the matching bar height chairs.

The product is excellent and deserves 5 stars. Beautifully built and easy to assemble. Amazon.ca however messed up the order at every opportunity. That part was very disappointing. Didn't meet their delivery date. Didn't notify me. When i used 'chat' to inquire where my purchase was - they transferred me 3 times between amazon.ca and Amazon.com. spoke to a total of 10 people . Told me I would get my product in 2 months. Called and finally had to order pieces separately. Sent to wrong address. Backordered. Finally have them all and love them but the investment in time was outrageous and only 1 of the 12 reps I dealt with actually helped me.

I am extremely disappointed with this product. Although it looked like it would be easy to screw together it wasn't because there were no guide holes. You had to use a crappy little allen wrench and you couldn't get enough torque on it. I stripped three of the screws and finely had to call a neighbour to come help. He had to use a vice grip to finish screwing the last 3 screws in. We marked the screws and the table in the process.Once put together the table looks pretty good on my patio, but it is definitely not worth $160 and highly do NOT recommend it.
