I love this thing -- and I'm not a big fan of specialty kitchen gadgets. I can't speak to durability since I've only done one task so far, but it was a substantial one. I made a massive batch of pesto, liquefying over 2 pounds of basil leaves and olive oil into mush. The blender attachment (the motor claims to deliver 1000 watts) was working to its limits but with patience and perseverance, I got an excellent result. With the blender blade frequently almost stalled in the decidedly non-liquid mass of leaves, I made sure to monitor the temperature of the power unit in my hand. When it got uncomfortably hot, I took an hour break for it to cool down before finishing the task. At the end, I had a perfect puree of basil and oil. For the next ingredient, I chopped 8 oz of pine nuts in the little enclosed food processor container with its own blade, using the same power unit. They were turned to near dust in about 10 seconds with no stray seeds shooting around the kitchen, ready to stir into the basil and oil. The kit also includes an uncovered drink pitcher and a whisk attachment, neither of which I've used yet Except for the power unit, naturally, everything is dishwasher safe. My only slight complaint is unavoidable. When blending something that doesn't flow, some inevitably gets packed above the blades against the shield. You can clean it out by rinsing but if you want to extract every last bit of goodness, it takes a couple of minutes with small utensils to coax the residue out into the open. You can spend a lot more on an immersion blender but I doubt you can get more for your money.

I use this to mix up my lotions. It’s just great to have around. I keep it in my craft room so nobody can use it.

Help me a lot when I am cooking. Easy to use and clean

Arrived quickly and the packaging was solid. A very powerful kitchen tool I will use often. The blades are very sharp but it is easy to clean. What kept it from getting 5 stars is nothing was mentioned about the power kick that happens when turned on or how loud it is due to that, however, I've adjusted to that now. I've yet to use it at full power though. All in all, a great tool I used often over the holidays and I love the chopper option. Highly recommend it and would purchase it again for gift-giving.

I've used this for everything from blending eggs for scrambled eggs, to crushing ice, to grinding coffee beans, to making tuna salad. This has replaced my food processor and old immersion blender whose motor died. The price was so much better than other name brands, and I was a little nervous because of that, but thought I'd give it a try, and I'm so happy I did. Highly recommend!!!

The food processor broke within 3 weeks

It came exactly how it was pictured! It works very well for a cheaper-priced version. I was quite astonished as I didn't know what I was getting because of the low price. I love using it, and it is powerful. Considering the good brand costing around $300 for this set, I say it was a good buy!

I thought the pieces didn’t lock together fully previously, but I just needed to twist a little harder to reach the click. I absolutely love this immersion blender and also the convenient top mounted blender. A suggestion would be to find some way to have it stay upright to drip off or contain mess right after using it. Laying it down between adding ingredients makes a mess on the counter. Otherwise I really love this blender
