Blackbeard for Men - temporary brush on colour 12ml 0.40oz (Dark Brown, 1 Pack)

Brilliant product. I had to stop using Just for Men beard when the changes they made to the formula actually started hurting, and even burning my skin, as others have reported too. So I was looking for something to colour my beard without any dangerous chemicals etc. I was hesitant about his product at first as I thought it seemed a bit strange (looks like mascara?), might not shade well or that it might rub off during the day on hands and clothes etc.I was extremely surprised to find it does a great job! It does take a little bit of time to find the right method of applying and this will depend on how long and full your beard is. Mine is short length so I take care to be patient and apply lightly. It takes about 5 mins (still quicker and less messy than normal dying). If you take your time and apply lightly the hairs will be coloured without marking the skin. If you do occasionally mark the skin I’ve found the easiest way is to simply wipe it off quickly with a dry tissue (don’t use water). Once left for a minute or so the colour will ‘stick’ to the hairs so you don’t need to worry about it rubbing off during the day on your hands or clothes etc. If you have a longer / fuller beard it will probably be easier and quicker to apply.The colour match is really good, very similar to JFM Medium-Dark Brown. The colour does start to fade gradually towards the end of the day, over say 8-12 hours. But depending how much grey you’re covering it will likely be barely noticeable to anyone but you, and even then only slightly.A brilliant and effective product that means I never have to use horrible and expensive chemical dyes. Amazing product definitely the best natural looking dye beard 😊

I switched to this temporary hair color after a bad reaction to permanent dye, and it helped my skin heal. Unlike mascara, which is silicone-based, this product is alcohol-based, so it dries quickly. However, it can rub off on clothing and won’t last overnight. It’s waterproof and holds up in steam or rain, but regular soap struggles to remove it. A gentle cleanser like Cetaphil works best for removal.Bonus tip: If you run low, adding 2-3 drops of eye drops can extend the product for a few days. Also, save the old brush for dry brushing and blending in any heavily applied product. Optional tip, look up on google the location of the ‘mental foraman nerve’ on each side of the chin. At this location (for most of us) we begin to go grey first, I learned this in dental school. So if you want to look natural, leave these areas grey, it actually looks cool. Speaking of work, this colour transfers on to surgical masks, annd anything it is rubbed against. so always keep in mind that it is a strong temporary masking colour and not permanent.All the best.

I cannot rate this highly enough, yes I'm refusing a bit to go grey, was dying my beard before with just for men but it made my skin so sore and itchy, and sometimes it got infected. Not good to be fair. Plus it only lasted a week or so.This stuff lasted over a month of daily use. It doesn't irritate my skin one bit - my skin has actually improved since using it. It also washes out at night after use so youDon't have to sleep with it on. Sounds daft but it's basically a daily brush on dye. Literally takes seconds to apply, kinda gels your beard in place a bit which makes it easier to manage and feels so much better than those Harsh dyes.I've just reordered and I've still got a bit left but its lasted over a month with easeHighly recommended

Does what it says on the tin, in that it colours the beard adequately and makes it look natural. Lasts pretty much all day as long as you don't touch it.However what isn't natural is that even when used very sparingly (admittedly I was putting a bit too much on at first until I got used to it) it makes the beard feel quite clumpy, matted and damp. It never seems to quite dry properly, and even when it's been on for several hours the colour easily comes away on my fingers should I inadvertantly rub the beard. I only use it to touch up the greying areas on my chin, but I need to make a conscious effort not to put my fingers on it otherwise it comes off.

This is a great product for a daily colour touch up but it comes off with any type on touching from clothing or material so you have to reapply and use a fair bit so it doesn’t last long, yet it’s increased by over 30% in the last couple of months which just makes it unviable. Really disappointing to have to give this product up.
