Fantastic tea trainer which really holds the tea
Bought this because I was tired of my tea leaves floating through my tea strainers, that includes the silicone ones and the metal spoon-like ones. Large holes in a tea strainer is really unnecessary. This reinmoson does the job perfectly, tea strains without any effort and I just love how easy it is to clean. Good size too since you can fit probably 4 tbs worth of tea in it. I was worried that it might just sink to the bottom, you know how you lose hold of the tea bag paper and then it flips into the water? They must know my pet peeves because this one eliminates that issue with the chain and hook that fits any handle. I loved this so much that I ended up buying 2 and will likely buy more for family and friends. No issues with discoloration and I use mine on a daily basis. Great for those who are, like me, really tired of the old designs that cause tea leaves/remnants to get stuck in your teeth.

Perfect from start to finish!
Positives: Almost nothing escapes the mesh except tea. Until you screw off the top to empty it -- then the used tea drops out in a neat block with almost nothing left behind. And that rinses out neatly. Also the design is beautiful -- I imagine these being used as a prop in a sci fi film. I think the quality of the tea was as good as if I had just put the loose tea into the water directly, and it was certainly much easier to drink.Works well steeping in a mug and also worked well when I dropped it into an electric kettle (you'll want to use it with a kettle that is safe to use with metal infusers).I have not used it for Indo-Pak/Desi style black teas. Not sure I would ever use it in dhood-pati/milk-infused teas. When I make desi chai I boil the black tea leaves in water. I use this infuser with every other kind of tea I drink, from herbals to green teas to milk-free black teas.Negatives: well, I did not discover this tea infuser until a short time ago. But can I really blame anyone else for that?

It’s a nice little unit.
It is a nice quality metal loose-tea holder to steep a good quantity at a time. It seems to be made of a nice stainless steel.I have experimented with different amounts of loose tea for each gallon we make. It always depends upon how dark or light we want it. Generally, I only fill it half way or less. The leaves swell up inside and fill it completely. We like it rather light.I create a gallon of hot-boiling ice tea with it and, once steeped, put the gallon container in our refrigerator to cool. The top screws on and off. It cleans up easily. The provided chain is attached to the screw top. The chain has a small hook that hangs it on the top edge of our gallon jug while steeping. It can fall off. I’m considering tightening the hook up a bit.It is a nice thing. It is made of very thin metal and can be bent or crushed rather easily. I am gentle with it.But, so far it is robust enough and we really like it.

Perfect cup of tea
I love tea. It's better when you using tea leaves. This tool made it easier. Less leaves in your cup, while delivering mouth watering flavor.

A good quality tea strainer
This is a good quality tea strainer and works well. For a single cup of tea I would probably use a strainer that sits on the lip of a cup but I purchased this for a teapot where it would be immersed. It works well for that but has a limited capacity. If you were making several cups it might not be big enough. It does a good job of keeping the tea in strainer. I have not experienced any tea getting out into the teapot. I have just started using it but it seals well and should be able to avoid rust. Time will tell.

Best strainer I’ve used
This strainer works much better than the standard circular strainers. There’s no leaf leakage and the holes are so small that most blends are fine to go in! My mom and I share this strainer and we love it. We use all kinds of blends like mint, peach, earl grey, and other teas and this strainer really enhances the flavor. I believe you can make like 4 cups of tea with this strainer since each up only takes about a tablespoon of tea leaves. It’s also such high quality- as opposed to the standard strainers that snap shut, this has a screw-top lid and even a little saucer so it doesn’t drip and make a mess. It’s great value for the price! I would buy three of these just so I didn’t run out of one while the others were dirty.

Excellent strainers. Just perfect for a cup of tea.
Excellent strainers. Just perfect for a cup of tea. These are very durable and dishwasher safe. The chain with hook is long enough the easily hook to the side of the cup, which makes it easy to lift the strainer up. Also, love the tiny plate they provide to put the strainer on after you lift it from the cup. I have another set I bought last year and they are still in excellent shape!

Flavor steeps in and sediment stays out.
I use this infuser for steeping chaga powder into turmeric tea and coffee, and it works perfectly. It prevents sediment from escaping into the drink, leaving a smooth cup every time. The stainless steel build is sturdy and holds up well in the dishwasher, making it both effective and easy to clean. Highly recommend.
