Urban Calm is my absolute favorite new skincare line. I am absolutely in love with the Urban Calm cleanser, and though it has taken a bit longer to appreciate this product, we have come to the conclusion that we love having it apart of our skincare routine.I have been using this product for 4+ weeks, and started using it when my skin was more distressed and sensitive than it’s been in 4+ years. My skin has since calmed down and become less stressed and hyper sensitive, and I attribute that wholly to the Urban Calm cleanser and this Soft Essence.For the first few weeks, I don’t think I was using this essence correctly. The texture of it is not as viscous as advertised, so I felt confused - was it intended to be used like a serum, or a toner? Initially, I used it like a toner, applying it with a cotton ball. Then i transitioned to using my hands to gently massage/pat it into the skin.I’ve come to the conclusion that the way my skin best absorbs it is to apply it to damp skin liberally (2-3 pumps), and fully massaging it into the skin until completely absorbed.Both the Urban Calm cleanser and this Soft Essence have calmed my skin tremendously, and helped improve skin texture, softness, and suppleness. I feel like these two products have increased collagen production, and leave my skin feeling restored and glowy. I am so grateful for these products!!

I was recently asked to purchase this product to try and give my opinion. So here we go!After all the products I have tried, with nothing lasting long-term. I must say I am excited about this one.Not only does my skin feel more hydrated, but it is also clearer and smoother than before starting this product.It is made with fermented seaweed and cica which are hydrating and calming to the skin. This product helps balance your skin barrier and microbiome.I have been using it for several weeks now and I would highly recommend this product.It seemed a little pricey at the cost of $49 for the bottle, but I have used it for several weeks and have barely put a dent in the amount of product in my bottle.So I would definitely say it is worth it. If you are looking for something similar I would definitely recommend it.

I received this product for free & am more than pleasantly surprised with it. Cica has been key with helping with my winter time red skin. It is a bit pricey but I will say it’s a pretty decent size bottle of product for the price. The essence doesn’t leave a sticky feeling like some products do, which is an added bonus. i’ve been using it morning and night with no irritation, or breakouts from it. I honestly love it so much that once I run out i’m probably going to purchase it myself. If you suffer from red or dry skin then o definitely recommend trying this in your skincare routine..

I liked this product and I use it in my routine but I’m not really sure what it does for my skin I haven’t noticed anything bad or good I have pretty normal skin. I continue using it but I’m still unsure the benefits it’s supposed to have for my skin I will update in a month or so.

This product works so well with the rest of my skincare! I really appreciate the fact that it is unscented. I have super sensitive skin and using products that are unscented have helped so much with my issues with breakouts. This product is also super moisturizing, but isn't greasy or oily - so it's great for girls who have oily skin they need to maintain! The bottle is massive and is going to last me a super long time, so it definitely feels worth the investment.

This is really nice and gentle, so it's perfect for second cleansing -after I remove makeup and before doing any mask or scrub

I'm not sure how well this product works. I'm used to using witch hazel for my face after I wash it. I've been using this soft essence along with the face wash and barrier cream and my skin seems to be doing better, but like I said, I'm not sure how much this product does.

For reference I have oily, acne prone skin. I expected not to like this as the first few days I didn’t notice much. However, after a week or so of use, I notice my skin texture improving and my redness significantly reduced. A little goes a long way so I think the bottle, while pricey, will last a long time and that I’ll be working this into my routine.
