Kitchenaid Spiralizer
Kitchenaid’s spiralizer/ribbon cutter is sturdy, easy to keep in place, easy to clean, and puts out a product I cannot criticise. My vegetables were nicely cut and they kept their natural strength. They dropped nicely into the container I had for them and were easy to work with, probably because they kept a uniform shape in cutting. I am very happy with this attachment. I like this much more than I like the cheap, plastic spiralizers.

Brilliant!
I love this! I’ve bought a couple of cheap spiralisers over the last couple of years and they never last more than a couple of months. This is so solid, amazing quality and makes the best spirals. So many choices of size too, which is handy. It all clips to the kitchenaid in seconds, washes easily and the box is worth keeping to make storage easy.

Worth the extra cost
Was nervous about spending so much on this, as other spiralizer machines are so much cheaper and this one just an 'add-on' to a KitchenAid Mixer, but I'm so glad I did! It was quick to set up, and performed brilliantly! I have tried onions, apples, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, courgettes and cucumbers on it so far and I've only had it a couple of days. The best bit (for me) is that as I have a rheumatic condition, the electric motor of the mixer did all the hard work. It peels (if you want) as it spiralizes so reduces 2 jobs into one. When you're done, a quick 'swish' in a bowl of hot soapy water and it's all clean. Why only four stars? Well - it does leave a 'nub' of vegetable at the end rather than working right up to the end of it, and as you've already had to cut off the end of the vegetable to make it flat, that starts to add up to quite a bit of 'waste'. You also have the core - but in the case of potatoes this can be kept and used for other dishes. With the peeler you need to 'catch' the peel and direct it into another bowl as the machine works, otherwise you end up with both peel and 'noodle' all in one bowl. Keep the box it comes in as it makes good storage - although I would have liked a proper, plastic storage box, like the one KitchenAid supply for the blades of their food processor.

Great product
I use this daily for curly sweet potato fries, which it makes an excellent speedy job of. I received shopping backs full of cooking apples and the gadget peeled them in no time. I would recommend this attachment but use a bit of common sense when placing on veg ie i use the noodle attachment for broccoli stems and don't cut off the branched parts but place the root end facing the part that moves so it does not catch. Also look at the produce and even if its misshapen place it so there is a central path and its easy peasy.

Very pleased with purchase
Excellent. Not opened the kitchenaid box yet as a gift but was well packaged and can tell it’s a genuine part at a good price.

Works as described
the most expensive apple peeler, I ever bought and will buy. Works well with average sized and shaped apples. Maybe it's me doing something wrong with adjustment. I don't regret buying it. It just belongs to my Kitchen Aid.

Disappointed
This is a great product, and it works really well, however, I bought it, expecting to have the ultrafine spiralising blade included in the selection of blades. It has two very thick spiraling blades, which are not the best for making courgette noodles which come out very thick. I’ve been trying to find the ultrafine blade online and I can’t find it anywhere and this is why I’m disappointed.
