Nuki Keypad 2 Open the door with a code or fingerprint quickly and conveniently - the ideal accessory for Nuki Smart Lock, Bluetooth

I got this and the smart lock as my kid loses everything. She's at the age now where she'd have a key if I thought there was a chance she wouldn't lose it, but she would.It's been installed for a few weeks now and she hasn't managed to lose the thumb yet, so her thumbprint still opens the door.The scanner is pretty quick, no connection issues. It could do with a more secure mount though, I know Nuki replace it, if it gets nicked, but I'd rather it be more secure and theft proof. That aside, great bit of kit

This is working really well. My only reservation with the product is the lack of an anti-temper device on the mounting plate, and that the mounting plate itself is made of flimsy plastic.Anyone can simply lift these up and walk off with it. Whilst this should not impact the security of your home, it is not exactly a cheap device to have stolen in this manner. An anti-tamper retaining screw or similar is in my view an essential feature.The second point is that the mounting plate is thin plastic. Once again, it will be simple to rip the device off. A metal mounting plate would be preferable.

Set up outside quite close to the Nuki lock, almost opposite, probably 20cm max afar. Quite responsive though at times can take a sec or 2 to respond.Setting up, adding user and fingerprints is easy, and can be done remotely. Mine came with a backplate that allowed it to be screwed to the wall. I like this very much and it is responsive enough without being terribly annoying.

The only part of the Nuki ecosystem that actually seems to work. That being said, there’s no lighting so forget trying to use the keypad in the dark. Unfortunately the Nuki lock itself is rubbish so the keypad is probably going to join it in a skip.

I purchased the Nuki Keypad 2 in February 2025, and unfortunately by July it had stopped working due to corrosion in the battery compartment. I only used high-quality Duracell batteries, with no signs of leakage, and the compartment was fully sealed—so this wasn’t caused by water ingress.It’s a shame, because while it worked, the keypad was excellent—reliable, convenient, and a great addition to the Nuki system. Fortunately, Amazon handled the issue promptly and refunded me without hassle. Full marks to them, as always.

It works fine but it isn’t as quick or as accurate as you’d be used to with TouchID on a phone. Sometimes requires you to lift and reposition your fingers.It rarely gets used as the door automatically unlocks when I’m in the vicinity of it with my phone.

Stay away from this company, extremely poor customer service would have been better than the non existent customer service received, this company is all about flashy videos and fancy marketing but when it comes to delivering a quality product it all falls flat on its face, do I feel disappointed and let down but Nuki, he'll yeah, stay away from them or you will end up in the haters camp along with me.
