Lovely sharp serrated bread knife, well made, decent price.

Our bread knife rubber handle was getting very soft and sticky, so I decided to buy an all in one knife and handle. The only thing i have cut so far is a tomato. The knife cut brilliantly.i must buy a loaf of bread to try it. It is lovely to hold and very easy to use. And very, very sharp. Would certainly recommend.

Easy to use and cut my sourdough bread

I want to start by saying I hate abusing tools—but I can’t say that in this case. I was laying quite a lot of turf in my garden and bought this MasterClass bread knife specifically to trim the turf. Definitely not what it was designed for, but it did the job incredibly well. After all that use (and misuse), the knife was still sharp, which really impressed me. It cuts cleanly, feels solid in the hand, and clearly holds an edge far better than I expected for the price. As a bread knife, I’m sure it’s excellent—but even after heavy garden abuse, it’s proven to be a great knife for the money. Very impressed.

As I bought another known brand bread knife at the same time, enabling me to compare them side by side. I immediately noticed that when trying to cut freshly baked bread that has a little bit hard shell, the MasterClass Acero Deluxe knife bounces around a lot more compared to the other knife, making it harder to initiate the cut. And looking at the end result seen in the picture, the other knife makes a more clear cut of the soft freshly baked inner part of the bread. A bit odd, as the feel of the MasterClass Acero Deluxe knife is great. I like that it is a bit shorter compared to the other knife, and the sharp edge looks and feels similar. But the ability to create a clean cut is totally different.
