Had this for 3 years now its hella durable doesn't stain and gets the job done its a great cable and pretty long. Good connectivity as well and is very thin and stiff so it wont break unless you actually drive scissors through it.

This CAT 7 cable will future proof your internet connection for gaming and smooth streaming - I liked the fact that the cable is flat so therefore would fit neatly in cable trucking and tuck neatly under my carpet so that I dont trip on it. It is giving me great speeds and tested with a few browsers to try and get a consistent result - i pay for 1gig internet and i can see i am getting 1gig to my modem however i am getting a tad slower to my device and this can be due to antivirus software and other programmes on the pc using the bandwidth. ii bought a 10 meter long cable and that was in order to get my connection to my PC which i use for gaming - games download really fast and i have no issues in streaming games to my other devices - cable is strong and i think you would have to try if you wanted to break it. All in all its a good cable and should help future proof your speed. Cat 7 Is maybe a tad overkill for most general applications but it definitely makes a difference.

I ordered the 2m cable in white and was not surprised when I received a 2m cable in white ! It didn't rock my world or change my life for the better but then again I wouldn't expect it to, what it did do was to allow me to move my powerline adapter off the 4 socket extension lead and plug it directly into the wall socket, which in turn improved my internet connection and reliability. I should have done this a long time ago, my internet connection has been steadily getting worse and was randomly disconnecting more frequently but I just couldn't see how moving the adapter to the wall socket would make any difference (even though everyone recommends it). After a bit of research I discovered the power supply in my computer could actually be one of the main causes of interference in the mains (who knew?) and as they were both plugged into the same extension lead I decided to try it and it worked (of course) ! Previously the best speed I was getting on Speedtest was about 18Mbps but that was very inconsistent (usually around 3 or 4Mbps) and could drop right down to zero until I restarted the connection which I had to do frequently ! Now I am getting a consistent 26Mbps which has only noticeably dipped a couple of times in the past few days but has recovered itself without needing to re-set the connection. The cable is soft and flexible and un-coils nicely, does not want to coil itself back up again and lays nice and flat. The gold plated shields are a little over the top and don't serve any practical purpose really and the 2 year warranty is very reassuring but also unnecessary. Far nicer than the generic yellow CAT5E cables I was using previously ! Definitely recommended if you haven't upgraded your ethernet cables for a while and are using the one that came with your router !

I like the quality of the product

I recently upgraded to Vodafone's Gigabit Fibre plan with speeds up to 950 Mbit download and upload.
