I previously always relied on shampoo to wash my brushes, which was fine until I started using a foundation brush for my Estee Lauder Double Wear and found that this is the most stubborn make up to wash off. No amount of shampoo, soap, washing up liquid, etc would shift it and my brushes were becoming coarse and grimey. Within one use of this brush shampoo my brushes are all like new! Shifts the most stubborn of make up while keeping brushes soft and supple. Not the cheapest but great value for money. Also you only need a tiny amount so this bottle lasts years. I use it with a silicone makeup brush cleaner tray for the most effective cleaning.

The actual amazingnesssss on this product is concerning. I love love love it. It did not take long for me to clean my brushes, you don’t need to put a huge amount. Before I cleaned them I tried to use normal shampoo just to see the difference and I couldn’t believe how much make up came off with using this compared to normal soap/shampoo. It’s a decent size. A bit expensive but definitely worth the price. Works amazing.

It’s great on powder and water based makeup but it took 4 washes to clean my foundation brush. It may have been too caked so I’ll see how it goes with regular washing on a weekly basis. The brushes were left super soft and actually squeaky clean. Extremely easy to use. A little expensive but a good product overall.

Love this stuff. Not only does it clean the make up off my brushes quickly (even the heavily soiled brushes with foundation on) but leaves them soft and silky.

Amazing! My brushes cleaned up quickly and thoroughly, and a little goes a long way - you don’t need to overdo it. I used a silicone brush mat and this was a perfect combo. Why has it taken me so long to find this product?! Highly recommended.

It's ok. You have to use quite a bit of it, in order to create foam and wash off the makeup. However, any foundation brush that has been sitting for a while will require a lot more scrubbing off. It's best to use it in combination with a makeup remover. My hair shampoo was much better at cleaning thick build up than this.

Firstly, I have never cleaned any make up brushes, ever. So was a bit sceptical about buying something just to clean them and was going to try and use baby shampoo instead of purchasing a proper cleaner! But I saw the good price for this and decided to go for it! The product arrived today and I absolutely love how the product smells! I doubt everyone will but I really enjoy the smell of this product and I could smell the lovely scent even when cleaning the brushes! To use, I just put some warm water in the sink and put some of the shampoo into the sink and also put a little blob in my hand too. My eye brushes were covered in colourful eyeshadows and this shampoo has almost cleaned them entirely clean! There is a tiny bit of colour left, but I really don't mind as it doesn't transfer onto the skin so they're completely clean! Overall, absolutely brilliant product and really no need for one of the textured cleaning pads you can buy too, especially when cleaning eye brushes-this will do the job brill! So pleased I went for this product as I was deciding between a few! Such good value and think this product will last a while as you only need to use a small amount! :)

Good product, but giving it 4 stars because you have to go in a multiple times to get foundation stains out of a beauty blender, even if they're not particularly stubborn. Good for brushes though, keeps the bristles quite smooth.
