A glue pen I've used for years and works perfectly. (please read the review for more information)
I've used Sakura Quickie Glue Pens for years and return to them over and over again. They're NOT for heavy gluing projects such as gluing the sole back on your shoe, and don't expect them to endure keeping a parcel wrapped up using it and going through the post. However, they're brilliant for crafting projects or many sorts. Attaching a paper insert into the inside of a card; Fixing a paper image or floral decoration to the front of a card; Gluing paper decorations of many sorts into a Journal; Fixing fake or real and dried leaves onto pages of a book or journal, or indeed a greetings card. The pens are really functional and so easy to use. My personal favourite is using these glue pens for adding a bit of gilding to something. The glue goes on BLUE, but WHEN DRY it become CLEAR and it's then that you can use gilding flakes to apply gold (pretend), silver, or any colour of metallic flakes to the glue. Before you do it on a project I would recommend you making a trial first by either writing, or drawing straight lines or stars, moon, glow to a candle etc, and wait for it to dry. It won't take long - 10 minutes or so, but once it's clear it's ready. If you feel part of your test trial before you add the gilding flakes, you'll feel the stickiness. If it makes your fingers sticky and stick together, you need to leave it a little longer. Once it's ready, apply the gold/silver etc flakes gently, with a soft brush. (I use some very cheap cosmetic brushes which I bought from Amazon a while ago), and softly brush over the gilded flakes to make the flakes stick to the glue. Leave it there for a couple of minutes then gently brush again to remove the excess flakes, leaving the shiny results for you to admire. After a while use a soft cotton cloth (I use old cut up Tshirts) to gently buff the gilding to a high shine. If you want that gilding to stay for ever and ever you'll need to use a varnish - see your gilding flake packet to see what they recommend. (HOWEVERE - I've been known to spray a little hair spray up into the air and then gently and slowly, manoeuvre your item with the flakes on, back and forth so that the falling mist of hairspray falls onto the item to seal it. DON'T OVER-SPRAY. otherwise you could dull the shiny flaked beautifulness).Summing up . . . I've used this product for donkeys years and have never had a problem with it, (unless you count the 3 times right at the start of the first time I used it, which was the result of my lack of patience and my over-excitement). I HIGHLY recommend this glue pen and although over time I've tried other glue pens, when I've been unable to get replacement pens, I can honestly say that nothing has bettered this brand of glue pen. It's easy to use (don't forget to take the cover off the nib the first time you use it) and it flows all by itself as you 'write' or scribble. It dries very quickly and it's easy to use. Oh ... store it flat when not in use rather than stood in a pot. It will keep longer that way.Sorry this is a long review but I'm hoping that this has been helpful to everyone.

Precision application not messy.
You just need a tiny amount to achieve a strong bond. Better than glue sticks. Paper does not warp

Best Glue Pens
Sakura are a great reliable brand and these pens are perfect when you just need a fine line for adding a number of different things like, gold leaf, glitter, chalks or even just to use on small paper accessories.

Excellent for purpose.
I use this product frequently in my card making. It is excellent for precise application and for securing very small items or small areas which need adhesion. Only minus - it does not, understandably, stick well on the front of glitter card, but other adhesives are available for this purpose.

Great glue for small items
Great for crafting, in particular for sticking down small parts cut out with dies when card making.
