Q: Can the usb port on the boost be used to accept audio?

Q: Will this work with the regular Mevo or only the plus model? I'm trying to justify buying the plus if this solves the wifi issues of the regular Mevo.

I originally started with the regular Mevo and now have the plus model. Yes, the boost will support either one. In regards to the WiFi issue...Yes, there is a significant improvement if WiFi connectivity and range.

Q: How would using this differ from plugging it into a portable power bank costing as little as $20?

For whatever reason the charger didn't run the camera and charge like a phone would...... and you can be mobile without a power cord

Battery Booster not working...

I recently purchased this battery booster. It has not performed to the standard expected. The device does not turn on or the USB connection does not work and it does not charge up the Mevo comera. I am hoping this is a faulty item and only a one off problem I am experiencing. Has anyone else had similar problems with the booster battery.
