The media could not be loaded. It’s kind of just a rock. It fizzed a bit when I put it in, I didn’t read the directions to rinse it first. Oh well, my tank seems fine. Now I just hide it in the corner in front of the heater.

I don’t give this product any stars, but I was forced to give it stars. I choose 1 star since I had to fill it in. I’m very disappointed. The picture is of shrimp and the description explained in detail how the product benefits shrimp. I received a package that has a hermit crab on the front and even says mineral rocks for hermit crabs. No where on the package says it can also be used for shrimp. I also thought it was returnable but it is not!

I’m hoping these work similarly to wonder shells. My biggest reason for ordering was to deliver vital nutrients to my snail. The rock pieces are various sizes but most are about 1 inch long/wide

My hermit crab immediately took to these and has been going to them everyday since putting them in the tank. I wouldn't hesitate to order these again especially at this price.
